Can we just STOP and acknowledge that our young Sista is “reading” a book!😳 Not glued to a phone! Kudos, Kudos Kudos! I SUPPORT heavily, “Social Media Breaks!” It is imperative to #unplug from time to time! It provides a break from TOO MUCH(unfiltered)INFO, all of the time, and it aids in preserving mental health. Protect Your Peace SistaZ! It will still be there when you “plug” back in! Oh, and her hair is very nice!

You do know that you can READ on a phone - both Kindle and Kobo have apps. It is more important to encourage people to read, rather than fetishize the medium.

@myrevair I recently purchased the revair mainly because of Tamica’s videos and great technique. You all definitely need to have her on extra instructional video or send her a check because so many videos on RU-vid are not doing the machine any justice. Tamika’s results is what finally sold me to purchase the revair.

Nice to see a video where the trim is done in a thoughtful manner and not just chop off everything for a blunt cut. My hair is fine and grows slower in certain places. I don't often wear my hair straight. I resorted to doing my own mini trims every 3 months similar to how you are doing your daughters. Seems most professional stylist want to chop so much off trying to get the same length. Then what happens is my hair still grows out longer and faster in some spots...since I wear my hair natural most times not as important to me to try and have one length.

Women from other cultures aren't obsessed with their ends the way AA culture is. This is why I stopped going to black stylists, seriously they will hinder your actual hair growth with these "aesthetic cuts" they like to call trims & their fixation with perfectly straight blunt hair.

Her hair looks beautiful as per usual! I'm going to try using tension 5 on my Revair instead of the 7 that I've been using. I always use high. I also have fine hair like your daughter, you can barely feel a strand of my hair between your thumb and pointer finger. My natural hair flat irons at 345 degrees and completely reverts when I wash it. 375 works as well but since I didn't need it I went down to 360 and now 345. I'll be incorporating your tips to get my hair to retain more inches over the next year. Thank you.

I noticed I tend to pull at my hair when I’m stressed or in deep thought. This habit has caused damage to my hair. I just wanna say your baby has beautiful hair and thank you for the transparency. I will agree a major chop is trauma when you are emotionally tied to your hair. My last hair stylist I let cut my hair chopped off a lot. I know it’s my fault not keeping up with my trims for over two years plus the pulling. Anywho. Good video.

Hey Tamika! Tiaras hair turned out beautiful! I was wondering how often do you recommend putting heat on natural hair if you are trying to keep your curls tight? But would like to wear hair straight more often?
@SimplyTamika

Thank you. Actually if you want to keep your curls completely in tact heat should only be used occasionally. I would say no more than once every three months.
