Whoever doesn't want to have an abortion, fine but give the safe choices and opportunities for those who do and NEED to consider that as an option for themselves.
@@CarolynSmith-ld5dz ""The unborn” are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus, but actually dislike people who breathe. Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn." ~ Quote by Methodist Pastor David Barnhart
The media loves to laugh at Trump for "costing Republicans all these elections" but who cares, he got the important seats on the Supreme Court while he was in office. Lifetime appointments btw.
I’m also noticing that “3 trips to a doctor” will effectively reduce access to women who don’t have the financial means to seek health care for anything. It’s another systemic attack on the poor.
and they never will as long as it is a life long appointment When Terms are limited in time, lets say 10 years would be a good term, Stable but there is an End in sight to so hidden agendas would need to be acted on early and more reckless to accomplish in said time, Easy(er) for the Press to Find. It is also a good length to time to prove they are HONEST! Then they could be Re-nominated or Not by a different President so s/he would
@@RendaJane you're absolutely right!!! 1000% It just sickens me to my core. These people don't care about life or health. They care about control. Power and control.
It is ironic that a right-wing Texas judge would come up with an arbitrary ruling against abortion rights amidst Trump's accusations of Democrats politicizing the justice department
The Texas judge's ruling shows an amazing lack of separation of church and state. It reads like dogma from a conservative evangelical church. You should read some of it.
Even WITH Healthcare, by the time you get all 3 appointments done it'll be too late to take it!!! And if you DON'T have insurance, you're looking at a $400 doc bill!
I don't understand taking something like this to the Supreme Court. The supreme court overturned roe v wade, so there is no chance they will rule on the side of abortion pills. It seems pointless
No, they will shoot this down I think. Ideologues that they are, the "reasoning" in this ruling is transparently bad, and the fig leaf that SCOTUS hides behind is state control, and this violates that. It also doesn't hurt that the recent Clarence Thomas revelations make them look like puppets of the far right, and they won't want to reinforce that.
If you are in a blue state, push your governor to do what Inslee did in Washington state or Kathy Hochul did here in NY. They stockpiled the abortion medication in large quantities, so it will be available to women as needed for years.
Set a modest goal. Get just 5 Gen Z members to register to vote. If we all do that, their numbers will consider to swell, and they already consider Republicans to be the enemy.
The Mississippi Republican Senator that thought the Texas judge's ruling, is he the same rep that thought 12 yr old girls should get married and that it is a good idea if their parents approve. Just Wow😮
In 2014, one of Texas billionaire Harlan Crow’s companies purchased a string of properties on a quiet residential street in Savannah, Georgia. It wasn’t a marquee acquisition for the real estate magnate, just an old single-story home and two vacant lots down the road. What made it noteworthy were the people on the other side of the deal: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his relatives. The transaction marks the first known instance of money flowing from the Republican megadonor to the Supreme Court justice. The Crow company bought the properties for $133,363 from three co-owners - Thomas, his mother and the family of Thomas’ late brother, according to a state tax document and a deed dated Oct. 15, 2014, filed at the Chatham County courthouse.
It's time to pass legislation to disallow district court ruling where there is only one district court judge to be applied nationwide, which can stop this court shopping. The plaintiff filed this FDA case in the district court which had only 1 district court judge who is known to have anti abortion belief, and knowing full well he would rule in their favor to block this abortion drug nationwide which has been allowed for over 23 years with no real medical negative issues. This court shopping must stop, especially where their ruling has a nationwide effect.
It is time that no politician has any say in the appointment of judges. Clarence Thomas is a case in point, Thee supreme Court is packed with people for whom the law is secondary consideration.
Regarding the income. There are a great many retired seniors who see only nominal increases in their income. It is staggering. Thank heavens for the assistance programs.
Having been a women’s advocate since the 60’s I applaud your coverage. Could men’s rights to have a voice also be discussed? They certainly have a high stake in this issue as well.
Where has George Conway been to? I have not seen him in a while. I like his reportings, analysis, commentary, and the way he handles Trump and Trump's Maga Republicans. By the way, I'm never a Republican and I don't like Republicans.
Texas Judge: The ruling was made with the safety and wellbeing of women everywhere. Also Texas: Proceeds to criminalize traveling out of state for an abortion.
make it make sense. You have a six week ban you’re not gonna find out whether you’re pregnant before the first four weeks so you got two weeks and three appointments to meet to get the pill. So likely you’re not gonna be able to use it. And if you live out in Appalachia, well, you just gonna have to give birth to your brothers child.
"Come now, let us reason together, sayeth the Lord". Most Russians think Americans are too promiscuous. Maybe some compromise would be good. Abstinence sometimes helps.
Items are overpriced... there is a large part of the population who still cannot buy groceries without credit debt...the prices of everyday goods need to be addressed and reduced...Everything is still overpriced!
Economically, people in the middle are still fairly stagnant. The middle class has been disappearing in this country for a reason. And inflation may be slowing, but the price of things have gone up and aren't likely to go back down. Pay has not done the same. The damage is done and it hurts.
these lies on the economy are ridiculous. i was poor 30 years ago and i'm poor today. the elderly, the infirmed the homeless always bear the brunt of capitalism. i have no idea what grocery store you frequent but you ask people how they're doing they'll say fine almost everytime. people don't confess their problems to strangers. they find it embarrassing and humiliating. people hide their poverty, their problems and misery best they can. even the charts show huge fuctuations over time. so even if you think you're doing fine now, JUST WAIT! things will get bad again. its called capitalism people. its unstable, except for the rich, and unpredictable, except for the rich. under capitalism WE, the people feel the stress while the rich just get richer.
When a political party/government says it's about appointing judges you're circling the bowl as a democracy. Here in Canada few Court decisions are questioned by Canadians even if we disagree individually because they are government appointed and respect the institution, not their appointing Party.
The news keeps talking about removing access to abortion being a problem for Republican politicians because most Americans don’t want that right taken away … and yet it doesn’t slow any of them down. I’m not sure it really a problem for them.
Why can't we vote for gun registration and license renewal yearly for all guns? Everyone possessing any gun must register their gun yearly just like a vehicle and have up to date registration to buy ammo for the gun that is registered and cannot buy ammo for any other.
Don't be surprised when the membership of the AMA reject things that people really need for healthcare. When Canada was getting universal healthcare, the AMA from the United States was the biggest objector other than the big insurance companies and Canadian doctors.
it could be like andrew jackson said when he was told about a judicial judgement he didn't like , "well, let the court enforce it." in other words executive branch can always override if it has to.
I just watched my indoor-outdoor cat chase down a rabbit and rip babies from its womb and bring them to me on my porch like a gift.. I now know my cat is a Democrat!
Because anti-abortion people have a faith that requires them to police other peoples’ behavior rather than looking at the beam in their own eyes. Anti-abortionists are not by any stretch Christians despite their claims.
willy wat wroung with this america this jouge is not a doctor he has no say making woman health his mission to ban these meds he shouls be focos is guns laws men have balls
Thank goodness that America has decent, sane and incorruptible people like Justice Clarence Thomas (and his wife QAnon Ginni) serving on it's Supreme Court - I'm sure they'll come to a sensible decision on women's health rights that the American people will agree with --- and do something about those Jewish space-lasers too 🇺🇸🙏🏻📖✝
21st Century version of the 18th Amendment. Widely unpopular and unwanted, likely to be widely circumvented, and expensive to enforce (monetarily & socially). Doomed to fail.
Next month they will be reporting a much bigger increase, the prices of so many goods have been jacked up in the last two weeks. Gas is back over $4 where I live.
Hey joe. Does your show care about ALL Americans Your reporting goes all one way I am disappointed in your show and so is many Americans Take a look at yourself sir
P.s. the " maz❤ke America grate again" means be like the 3rd word countries and take women's rights away! Do they have another and of if sp, what happe!???
So.. I'm sorry but at 20:20 did he basically say that employers need workers so bad that they are willing to hire black people that they normally wouldn't hire? did i hear that right?
I didn't not hear Rattner make that inference even indirectly, although that may be going on. It's a fact that black unemployment rates are higher than white unemployment. In a hot economy ALL unemployment rates go down.
@@urkiddingme6254 It's also true around the world. Here in NZ Maori and Pasifika people have higher unemployment rates, and generally have lower incomes. This is partially due to lower levels of education, which is likely caused by financial, societal and (maybe even) racial factors.
@@sebring4412 Greetings, friend. The point is to spread the Gospel, being interpreted "the Good news." In short, it means God has visited His people and redeemed them from the grave. And upon His awesome and terrible return, the Kingdoms of this world will become His. We are to live accordingly until His return, namely to love our neighbors, not as we love ourselves but as Christ has loved us. If you have an ear to hear, please hear. Peace S441
Mike W: You might find that being relevant to the conversation is likely to advance the Kingdom of God more effectively than posting something off-topic. Look at the topic from a Christian point-of-view and make a comment based on that. Jesus was always relevant to those He spoke to... 🙂
There isn't much Joe can do about his approval ratings. He's not going after corporate greed, which is adding to inflation. He took a lacluster attempt at student loans. And he said he was 1 and done, but he's warming up for a second run. Joe is old. You can see it in his speech, his walk, and his reaction time. Thanks for taking out Trump, but the country needs someone younger.
At the start of the show. They spoke of an update on the Trump tax realestate case. 4 hours later. 6 DeSantis abortion discussions, 5 or 6 Classified documents discussions. 4 hours later, not a single word on the Trump case. Wonder if theyt watch their own show.
YOU Simply got to take the politics out of the courts like we do in Europe In the UK Judges are appointed on merit (ie essentially promoted from a lower position) by independent judicial appointments commissions. The candidates’ political views count for nothing, thank goodness, and are often not even known. The judiciary should keep out of politics - separation of powers, being impartial and all that. a Judges job should be to administer the law fairly, not to influence or support party dogma. You either have Republican laws or Democratic laws depending who is in power how corupt is that, Your constitution is only fit for a banana republic How can you run a Country with these principle.clearly you don't understand what a democracy is.
