The grift scheme: Huckabee partied in Paris with friends for $19K. She charged the party bill to the state by having friend supply her with a cheap lectern and charge it to the state for $19K. Since Huckabee didn't go through proper channels to get the lectern, the whole grift is being investigated. Republicans are the party of lawlessness and disorder.

She was investigated. Or at least her actions were investigated. The legislative body involved found that her actions were inconsistent with the requirements of the law, and said so. Her office immediately came out and claimed that the report declared her innocent of wrongdoing, which it most definitely did not. Of course... Who do you think her supporters are going to believe? If there's another investigation, whose mind is going to be changed. The bulk of Sanders supporters (and Trump supporters, though they mostly overlap) are in many ways permanently lost to reason.

The consistent hypocrisy is what I find most notable about his character. The first day the complaint was the judge won't permit a day off for his son's graduation. The actual word from the judge was if the trial moves along on or ahead of schedule he will grant the day but it's too early to determine. The second day of trial the complaint is the process is moving too quickly. Do you want to attend the graduation or not? Whine, whine. Some of your citizens are willing to subject other elected world leaders to dealing with that character. Spare us your drama, please.

About 15 years ago i was driving by Planned Parenthood. I was shocked to see other women outside with signs. I ask then, I'm asking now, how do women stand against other women's rights? Take Kari Lake's woman card. If it was her needing some kind of reproductive care, would she be out promoting laws that harm women? Maybe her "lake" has dried up. Then what about her female friends and their daughters?

If I was on the jury of this first trial, I would try to get my fellow jurors to find Benedict Donald: Not Guilty by reason of insanity and/or mental incompetence. That way he couldn't fight the verdict and it would stick. Especially since it seems to be the case.

You have to understand how much additional stress it is to be a defendant in a criminal case vs a civil case. It is unimaginably more stressful to be in court all day as a defendant watching your entire life possibly unravel in front of your own eyes. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some serious health problems judging by how terrible he looks after just 2 days as a criminal defendant. He's got a solid year and a half to go...he ain't gonna make it imo.
