Too many humans on the planet (7 billion and rising) trashing it! at this rate we are going to need 4 planet earths to sustain us all! Eventually we are going to have to learn to ‘tread lightly’ on this fragile ecosystem we call home.
TroubledSpoon They do, many studies debunked myth about fish and mollusk not being able to feel pain, some scientists still debate if they perceive it the same way as vertebrates like mammals because their reactions to shock is so different. Most octopuses and calamari are intelligent, can solve puzzles and also react with very complexed defensive mechanisms protecting them from damage depending on scale and type of danger, so there's a possibility they can feel fear as well.
I am against hunting when people have access to vegan food, but I agree with you about torturing fish. If it were a dog-drowning competition for charity, people would be extremely outraged.
Guy says "we do release every fish we catch...85% of them do survive" So if they are catching 1000 fish per year then 150 fish die every year in the name of charity. When will people start having charity events that makes sense not harm?
deltaforcedf its not charity... they spend insain amount of money on gettin al those ppl there and too do what they are doin.. its stupidity. just the gas for drilling the holes cost more than the fish.. if it runs on gas
This is kind of a dumb way to raise money for a charity but hey atleast they are try to be good right. Hopefully some charities that support the environment *cough cough*
