Companies saying “we’re eco friendly” while doing the least is so frustrating!! -- Omg hawks are so cool to see! Even though they’re fairly common where i live i still stop and stare at them! 😅

If composting veggie and food stuffs in the backyard - BE SURE to wash that stuff of any chemicals first. In a nutshell, the pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, et al can and most often will remain long after the item its self has decomposed. As the world of agricultural chemicals increasing moves into the "forevers" which will not break down on thier own, it is possible to turn your back yard compost pile into a hazardous waste site over time.

@@TheSimpleEnvironmentalist "We" measure toxicity in parts per million (ppm), or billion etc.. if you have a ppm which takes into account of say a 3 dimensional, full sized watermelon, eat the insides, and compost the rest down to between 1 Tablespoon to 1/4 cup we have drastically reduced tge volume of that watermellon. Assuming all of the chemical residue was on the composted rind, that all of the chemical residue remained, the ppm would then be calculated over much less volume. The absolute amount of chemical residue would remain unchanged. But as we add say 100 pounds of veggie scrap per year to a compost pile, the veggies themselves would basically dissappear from decomposition where as all that chemical residue would remain.

It’s good that you’ll be including B-Corp because they have changed a lot in recent years and no longer seem all that credible to me!

The lack of regulation and standards in the US is atrocious. Looks forward to the certifications video. Just an ideal - a video on food contents, as this is poorly regulated by FDA and there are many ingredients that have been banned in other countries for decades!

Huh,almost none of claims hold water ...😔 What about the Body Shop? They have a lot of claims to their good corporate citzenship; B Corporation,lots of fair trade product ingredients, vegan, no animal testing...is the Body Shop actually a sustainable, real eco company? Would love your view 🤓

So on your research about Kroger, was there any information about food redirected to food banks before spoiling or reaching expired date. Different state passed some laws, I think, like California where I am. I’m not sure if it took effect yet. Hmm, now I need to go find those laws. PS: cool you heard & spotted a hawk.

My personal definition of natural is completely unaltered or relocated by humans. Here is an example as soon as a farmer plucks an apple from a tree, it is no longer in its natural state. I completely understand that very few agree with my definition, so I really don't trust anything that says natural on the label.
