It's not poor tiling that causes smells in the bathroom. The reason the smells are coming back up through the wet room shower drain is because, they did not use a non return valve in the drain pipe. It is the non return valve the closes after water drains through, preventing any backflow or smells from coming out the drain.

Another great upload as always. Fumigation can be toxic to health . I suggest you investigate organic natural insect repellents, whole families have been wiped out after staying in a home that was recently fumigated.

We have been in an estate where fumigation was done every 3months The fumigation is outside not inside ! All windows are closed and AC turned off during the event

Wow 😮. The compound looks really really great now. So beautiful. The only problem is overtime the coloured pavement blocks begin to fade out. I’m sure there’s a solution to that .

High walls are not necessary if one has all security measures (camera etc.) In place. You see, it's a good thing your compound could be seen by neighbours should there be intruder🇬🇭⚽️. That's just my take 🇬🇭

Why not much grass than block floor. My challenge with Ghana is the limited greens and trees within our real estate. The palms would have been beautiful with grass. I’m not sure what percentage of development must greens

Why is it needed? Everything including the structure is at the same potential. That’s why you create an equipotential zone!

That plastic sheet is not even damp proof membrane. Those are much thicker. These are regular plastic sheet for controlling weeds between the blocks. I know people call them DPM but they're not
