Roger Staubach and Drew Pearson recreate the famous hail mary pass and put their foot prints in concrete for the Ring of Honor at The Dallas Cowboys new headquarters, The Star in Frisco.
Drew Pearson was & is my very favorite football player ever. I remember the hail mary pass & I thought I was going to pass out. It was awesome. I'm thrilled that finally , after all this years he's finally in the Hall Of Fame . I love you, Drew. God bless for all you did for the Dallas Cowboys. My team. True blue.
@stevec I liked/loved your Bud Grant Vikings, but, as everyone knows..... Pearson didn't "push off" of anyone. If anything, #43 Nate Wright interfered with Pearson. There had to be a winner, and there had to be a loser. R. I. P. BUD🏈GRANT
Although Tom Landry was a good coach he was also stubborn as a jackass. To keep Rodger Staubach? I would have let him call his own plays. That's all he wanted, was to call his own plays and Tom Landry couldn't even let him do that because of the stupid "system" that they had in place.
Pearson should be in the HOF. Also, how bad ass would it be if the 2021 Cowboys suddenly started doing that thing on the offensive line that Landry’s Cowboys did in the 70’s where they would all stand up for a second, then go right back down into their stance ? That would get big applause . It would be a statement “we are the freaking Dallas Cowboys and we are going to start playing like it “
2 dropped passes to be exact. Jackie Smith in Super Bowl XIII. Also, In Super Bowl X, Percy Howard came very close to catching the game winning TD when the ball bounced off his helmet on the last drive of the game. Much more closer than it appears on the regular video.
The Steelers got all the breaks from the reefs they should not have been in one of those Super bowls Houston should been there but the Steelers owned the reefs
