A Senate HELP Committee hearing went off the rails when Senator Markwayne Mullin responded to a tweet from Teamsters General President Sean O'Brien and the two challenged each other to a fight.
Being a teamster president isn't a "normal" job, though. He is basically a thug and that's how he treats union members... then he tried to bully a former NCAA wrestler and MMA fighter and it backfired. Senator Mullins accepted his offer to fight.
At the end, Senator Mullin was asked to yield so another Senator could have her time. Mullin immediately declined and asked her to a cage match to settle their differences.
I know I always invite people to coffee by saying "quit the tough guy act, you know where to find me" This president is the most pathetic type of person. Acts tough on the internet, but when he gets called out on it in real life suddenly "i DiDnT mEaN tHaT!"
Nah, he wanted to make it LOOK like he was a tough guy. He knew very well that whatever happened, he would have the upper hand due to security, at the very least. And he also knew that the challenge for charity he made would likely not be accepted either since it's unprofessional and moronic.
When our government is in disorder, so are we, as a country. The failure or success of any society is determined by how bad or well we treat one another. This exhibition along with other recent government events illustrates this.
Nobody answers a dang question ever…. Let them fight. At this point who cares. Let the bald guy get whooped for talking on socials. People need to learn.
They say if you have to resort to violence you have already lost the argument, this is how a senator of the US congress acts? I would be laughing if this was happening in a third world country, but actually it’s sad this is the best we have in our government
@@thomascavanaugh5895 So you don't disagree with me you seem to have misunderstood. Mullin is my senator and I am aware that the guy he's talking to is the one who started it. I even mentioned the fact that this isn't unstatesly and that our politicians before dueled somewhat often.
@@thomascavanaugh5895 Yeah Obrien started it, Hes not a senator which doesn't matter but the first comment claimed he was. And I'd like to see Mullin fight this guy, Just like has happened before in our history.
She does act like that. In fact, the majority of Dems make calls to get in the streets, get in their face and fight and scream in the mic on the floor. But it's only bad when conservatives do it.
some of these senators get in there and really want to make a change, then get frustrated cause they are surrounded by mouthy corrupt trash..... what is unbelievable it has taken this long to have a senator that calls it up... if we had more politicians that holds ppl acct, I would say it be a better congress, did you not hear/see what this man was about/doing??
Exactly. I think the senator has some masculinity issues if he lets that bother him so much. Most of us grow out of that after adolescence, but not the senator.
I hope these two WILL have a charity match! Imagine ALL the money raised to help the homeless and widows and the fatherless families! Veterans, disabled. Right? We can only imagine.
@@dustinbarlow1623 Getting a few million from daddy is the opposite of self made. Besides, are you taking inflation into account? Did he quadruple the business before or after the pandemic? Were government contracts involved? Did he get some of that PPP money?
Pretty sure the teamster made the threat. Mullin read his tweet into the congressional record and called ole boys bluff. Things were starting to look like 1856 for a second and would have been amazing.
They should have made arrangements to meet in a ring. Bet the teamster guy would'nt show. He acted like a scared kid when confronted and stayed glued to his seat. What a wimp!
Remember when words used to matter? I guess we'll have to restart the country the old way, sooner or later. Or are Teamster leaders words supposed to be meaningless?
What's really pathetic is that he brings up a mean tweet on the Senate floor... like... isn't he supposed to be there to represent his constituents... solve problems for the American people? But no... he had to whine about that mean tweet... American govt in action.
My nephew and his brother was fighting over cheetos the same exact way.. "U had the last one!" "U had the biggest one" blah blah blah. They are 8&9.😂😂 Glad to see our senators are rekindling with their childhood memories.
Those 8&9 year olds will grow chronologically but modern society will allow them to be children the rest of their lives. It’s amazing what getting hit in the mouth will do for maturity and your willingness to not be disrespectful to pne another.
@@dylancatlin1329 if a grown man is swearing and yelling at another man's wife or kids, you would say being the bigger man, ask him to stop or just tell him what one thinks about his actions and walk away.
He had to take over the business without warning at 20 years old because his father got terminally ill I’d say he had to put in a lot of work to keep the business going and grow it
In keeping with his entire political career, Sanders chose to keep interrupting and made sure that once again, nothing got done. His record remains untarnished.
This is the kind of nonsense that we used to see on the Daily Show as footage from some other country’s legislative sessions. Just a few steps away from a brawl erupting in the chamber
Irish American? The O'Brien fella certainly is, but I distinctly remember about 3 months ago Joe Kernen of CNBC interviewing Mullin and he said he had Red Indian blood in him. Whites in the USA are different from whites in Europe. In Europe, whites really _are_ white.
@@user-vc1oz9rv6v LOL! The Irish weren''t even considered properly white when they first arrived in America. Yup...and that lunacy made as much sense then as your comment does now.
Bernie Sanders just got a lot of respect from me. I've never really supported his politics..but he is protecting the honor of our institutions. You have no idea how important that is.
Its obvious the farleft union guy is a coward and is a keyboard warrior who says he wants to fight the Senator but when confronted face-to-face, he wouldn't stand up and then later he says, oh no, I just want to have a coffee. That's a coward folks.
@@benjaminpease5297 No. Wishful thinking. He knew Mullin was baiting him into getting arrested or that he'd look as juvenile as the podunk senator on TV.
I read about members of the legislature challenging each other the fisticuffs when I took US history in high school. Glad to see we still have that same spirit in 2023 lol
Legislature? Bruh, do you even live here? You don't. If you did, you'd know the only fight to ever take place in Congress* (not "legislature") was with a cane, and ended with one of the Congressmen DEAD. Bot.
@@Living_Dead_Girrl Can you give me the name of the Congressman who died in Congress? What about Huey Long? He was killed, while it was during a congress meeting it was pretty big deal, also Harvey Milk death was really bad. However I never heard of a cane beating to death in congress if so i'd imagine it too place a very long time ago if at all.
