He's a very influencial politician who could've caused more resources and personnel to get involved and perhaps save a few lives of the many lost. At least Colin stayed to do whatever required of him to be there for Texans. He was there then, he's there now, and we believe a Texas-born man like Colin, as Senator, will be there for Texans from day one.

John McCain had my vote in 2008 until he picked that train wreck, Sarah Palin, to be his VP. I couldn't believe how uneducated she was. I felt bad for him because she cost him that election. Harris spoke well. There are many good, capable and intelligent people in the Democrats. They just have to remember to address the so-called ordinary people as well, not just the establishment and the elite. And although the pursuit of equality for minorities is _extremely_ important, it must not turn into dominance or otherwise go too far and into absurdities. Equality does not mean that dominance changes the other way around. It is also not right to focus only on the issues of minorities and forget about others, but issues concerning everyone must be taken care of.
Kudos to VP Harris, a good leader is not afraid to change their minds on issues. Or listen to their advisers and constituents. Thats smart leadership. Globally, the working class supports the upper class, who are rentiers. In Japan, young workers support the upper rentiers (unearned income earners) by paying for the pensions of the elderly. The reality is that the wealth gap that has spread due to COVID-19 and the stock market is falling on the shoulders of lower-class workers. The balance between industry and currency is collapsing. Interest rates are a device to move capital, not a way to accumulate counterfeit money. Politicians have done nothing despite the situation needing to be corrected through the tax system. We are at our limit. I don't think Trump is an sympathizer of the working class, but Harris is also indecisive. Harris should stick to his beliefs, even if it means splitting the Democratic Party.
