It’s despicable of Vance to put down another veteran! I worked with the Vietnam vets in early ‘70s…there was limited to no help for mental health case management services and supportive services for these vets. So when I learned of the help for our vets…brought tears of delight for our vets.

I'm a combat veteran (Army Medic, E-6, ret.), and the sad part is JD Vance criticized a soldier for their military service. Walz was not only a Command Sergeant Major (CSM) but also served for 24 years, vs. Vance's 4 years. Even four years of service is more than 97% of Americans can claim, but to try and score points on Walz's 24-year record of service? Shameful. Lastly, my cousin was an E-8 as a Marine and was passed up for his E-9 twice. He decided to get out because he didn't have a third attempt in him. E-9 is very hard to achieve. To McGrath's point, the difference (not rank, respect) between a Corporal and a CSM is like that between a Lieutenant and a General. HUGE difference. Hooah!!

Appears Harris-Walz not nearly as beholden to bankers, corporations, and financial industry as Obama-Biden (as evidenced by their Larry Summers, Tim Geithner appts., and lack of movement toward more progressive taxation, undoing Bush-Cheney tax cuts, when they had Democratic Congress their first two years).

@@paulleverton9569 yes his wins in office show how intelligent and well versed he is regarding the government/polices, etc. His reason for being President is to help the U.S. citizens. I hurt for the manner in which our party publicly forced him out, and had plans to do worse. Why his people in the White House ran out to the reporters immediately after his Bad debate night and made it worse, it wasn't necessary to humiliate him without initially sitting down to talk with him. Well now he may have time to take care of his health which his healthy habits can only do so much. I pray God that he can have some joy in his life.

Sadly I don't see it this cycle, I just drove through there to AZ and ..... at least where I was , I didn't see any signs of it , however I saw a lot of poverty and dilapidated areas , and I felt sad they won't vote for something and people who actually care , we all know it happen overnight , but with trump it won't happen at all , that's the irony ....

There are RU-vidrs who do just this. It's beyond belief how blindly they follow Trump. They can be asked well, if Biden did this would you be for it and they say "no" and then are asked if Trump did this would you be for it and they say "yes". Like many of the real nice folks in Minnesota I am a Scandinavian-American. So I don't see the relationship between Socialism and Capitalism as an either/or choice. I see it as an and/also option. The reason why Scandinavia has such a great economy and why their populations’ rate happiest in the sociological datum. Is because their Socialism compliments their Capitalism and their Capitalism supports their Socialism. American's should stop thinking of these two economic options as an either/or choice. When they could also be a very effective and/also option. Which could benefit the entire society. Leading to increased happiness in the sociological datum. And even a decrease in American anger and resentment. For if the government were more responsive to the needs of the people the people might be less antagonistic toward each other.💙
