Ambedkar said Baniyas are "worst of creatures" Ambedkar whole identity revolves around caste, he fought for seperate electorate till the independence of India, and even don't support the cabinet mission, Book "Transfer of power" His 22 pratigya were many times cited by these Neo-Buddhist Fellows. I'm a Farm science student In the final year of my course we have to stay in a village for 3 months as a part of our syllabus. And we got a village full of "STs" and half of the village people had degrees, then on the first day of meeting with villagers they said 'If you have any SCs in your team then don't come to our houses we don't allow them' and hearing this I realised that the caste system in India has grown beyond my thinking , even education also failed to eradicate it.

In Bihar, just for the sake of equal opportunities, they increased the reservation quota but still no questions were asked to them why weren't they able to provide equal representation despite 50 per cent reservation from past 7 decades.

I am also cs student intrested in politics . we don't have to match ideology to agree with each other we just first have to listen each other and have conversation. I openly say i follow Hindutva Ideology and you are free to criticize me or agree with me doesn't matter with side you are from I know Brahmin who are communist and SC friend who Is more religious than me. I was extreme left supporter one time and one time extreme Right supporter. But now I am not centrist but close to that.

I can bet on this, 90% of the students attended this class do not even have guts to face even their parents on the acceptance of all indians as equals and tell confronting them that I don't believe in the belief system we live in, let alone convincing whole society. Fortunately somehow I have said it and ever since then my father has developed a hatred for me. And I can bear it for my whole life. We shouldn't deny the pain general category indians get when other category candidate usurp seat almost in all govt departments despite more marks. Not really, I moved to a fancy school in North India, and the kid was like what's your caste, and I was like "l don't know, my last name is this, you decide which category you want to put me in." We need to be ignorant of the whole caste system, and just be humans. Religion caste all these are man made to create differences and rifts, otherwise people will not fight with each other until they are shown the they vs us.

It is the failure of the leaders of current generation of not being able to build our society according to the ideals we believe superior today.

On kashi, Varanasi, haridwar ghat we can see that elegant, upper class,Rich Brahman who asked for pooja, rituals in minimum 100 Rupees.. i wonder how bollywood Get success in spreading propaganda against hindus since long. I never denied this was not happened but generalise things for all is really really Shocking, insulting, and injusticeful. My question is after giving so much reservations why still They Called Dalit and Poor. Why don't their own people who are on high positions help them to get good life, infrastructure, jobs. Jati was functional at one point of time in our past as it was a means of intermingling and inter-marriages as explained by BR Ambedkar in 'Who were the Shudras'. Jati was also functional to allocate limited resources of society based on occupation of individuals and groups, i.e Varna to attain the prescribed 4 Prurusharth, i.e Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. But we also have to understand that Jati is not a static concept and has changed significantly since ancient times and present Caste System is completely different and imposed by Europeans. Outsiders exploited our internal divisions and completely turned the entire social relations which were in a very bad shape already at that time. No one will find Caste names like Srivastava, Pathak, Sharma, Nair, Shetty, etc in any of the 4 Vedas. These names emerged as society became more complex and resources reduced. None the less, CASTE based exploitation must END but it's hard now to eliminate Caste completely as it has been somewhat Constitutionalised and heavily politicised like reservation based on Caste in Local Bodies and Vote-bank politics.

Not really. This is the reason why ghori and ghazni could never convert us. Our caste leaders never allowed conversion to Islam and kept the flock together. Our caste elders preferred to die than see the conversion of their pind or kunba. Caste is a grouping. Only hierarchy and caste privilege should be done away with.

I never faced casteism..... That was until I stepped out for college and entered the real world of urban as well as rural India, It's then I realised how deep rooted casteism is in our country and people play blame game ki - British ne banai. When I read Geeta, it's clearly written "that jati Maine banai", I realised how ingrained it is in our culture.

Bhai sastro wala alag tha. Usme kaam ke upar division banaya gaya tha like jo ahi bhi hain for eg. Businessman, social servent, peasant, etc so yeh sab classification occupation ke upar hai. Or agr tab bhi lagta hain ki sastro se he taaluk hain iska then...dwarka meh sab kaise khus the? Just upper caste wale sab ko hona tha bas...so it's about that ‘ superior complexity' mentality of those Britishers which even reflected on the Indians of that time and thus prevailed
