Her attorneys did an awful job preparing her for cross examination. Saying 'I don't know' 200 times is very disingenuous.

After one of the worst days in my life, this was a really nice verdict to hear! I’m so happy she didn’t get away with it. She is so guilty.

True Justice will be when all Adelson's are convicted and Dan's children are placed with HIS FAMILY and their Birth Names restored. Great beginning with this verdict.

I am so happy she was convicted. Her attorney was so unprofessional crying after the verdict like it was so horrible that this murderer was found guilty. It sickened me. She deserves everything she gets.

When the jury decides a murder trial in under 1 day, it usually means that the verdict is guilty. You can see the looks on the faces of the defense before the verdict is read.

Believe it... I am in Nigeria and I have been following this case for a long time. Followed the trial from A - Z. I'm so so glad she was found guilty. She was willing to do the crime and evade the time. No no Katie.. doesn't work that way. Murder is one thing I can never ever be lenient towards. I hope she gets the maximum sentence possible. And for burning her bridges with literally everyone in the case, prison won't be a fun place either. RIP Professor Dan Markel ... my condolences to your family (excluding the Adelson's obviously) RIP to all those murdered unjustly, may you find justice in this world and the next. She was near the rental car agency both nights that they picked up the cars. Called for auto insurance the same time and the same night of the car rental. She was in contact with Charlie, Garcia, and Rivera on the night before and day of the murder. She helped deliver stapled money to Rivera the day after the murder. She was having money injected into her bank account by Charlie or from Charlie. Got a tropical Island vacation paid by Charlie. Got constant presents by Charlie. Got checks by the dental practice like she was a paid employee. She was tape recorded trying to pass Garcia the telephone number in code. She was tape recorded with Charlie talking about how to respond to police and to flee if you have to. She is a bad bad woman. I do enjoy watching her weep for herself. I know that is mean but she is truly only crying for herself. Never a second thought of Dan Markel. Human life was Nothing to her. I wish they would give her the electric chair.

She cries for her situation. She facilitated a murder of 2 boys’ father. She knew the risks to her family, especially those to her own children if she got caught. One domino falls the next.

THIS is what justice looks like. Luis Rivera: CONVICTED. Sigfredo Garcia: CONVICTED. Katherine Magbanua: CONVICTED. Next up: Charlie Adelson. This was a strong prosecution case. Much stronger than the first one. This time, they spent less time on the Adelsons and ,more time on the actual defendant that was on trial. They had the enhanced Dolce Vita video. Magbanua clearly lied in the first trial; but her lies were more believable. This time around, Stevie Wonder coulda seen she was lying. On direct examination, with Tara Kawass basically feeding her the answers, she remembered everything. Then on cross examination, she couldn't remember anything other than her name. Katherine Magbanua is a pathological liar, a narcissist, a user and now a convicted murderer. Hopefully she spends the rest of her worthless life in prison. People say "What about her kids"? Dan Markel can't raise his kids, so why should she be able to raise hers? At least her kids will still be able to see her.

Just realized how thankful I am that trial 1 did not result in a not guilty instead of hung jury. I guess I am seeing how close she came to getting away with this. Justice for Dan.

Its crazy how Wendi Adelson just walks free when people are in prison for killing a person for her. It's literally part of their case.

This was a great trial with a magnificent result. Georgia Cappleman and Sarah Dugan did an outstanding job of prosecuting this complex case. And kudos to the Tallahassee Democrat for their excellent coverage of this trial. From jury selection to verdict, they were there. Seeing Katherine Magbanua cry made me laugh with unbridled joy!!!

I just noticed that she never shook her head as if to say the jury got it wrong. She just hung her head.

Katherine, you had a choice. Why on earth would you have agreed to such a crime and then, be so overtly indignant about it after the fact. Such senseless violence. You showed no remorse in 8 years (which coincidentally you seemed to imply as if it were the equivalency of 20 + yrs). "2014..2014..2014..and I cannot remember that long ago". My ears are ringing from those nonsensical phrases. Is 2014, 1997?! Adding to, you solicited others, then blamed said others, and giggled throughout your trial. You were the one who coerced others. Not the other way around as your defense team dreamt up for you. You wanted "your jury" to show you mercy and feel sympathetic during your testimony? Were you on crack?? What if someone did this to your own son, whom may never see again, without glass inbetween you both? Did you ever stop to at least consider your childrens lives, if not your own and others, before agreeing to a murder-for-hire? apparently not. I cannot help but think about: 1. A bullet lodged in an innocent and defenseless person's mangled head 2.Prof. Markel's elderly parents having to fight for full-justice, whilst trotting back and forth from courthouse to courthouse in the coming years; this has destroyed them (in their own words). 3. The Multiple groups of children that have/will become parent-less- simply being born into a nightmare. Tits, tens of thousands, a vehicle, and access to what you perceived as a money tree, outweighed all else. Trick, get back into that prison cell.

I noticed that none of Magbanua's lawyers consoled her after the guilty verdict. But then the Kawass sisters started crying like their best friend had just died. It was a weird scene.

The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards Justice!

Sending warm hugs and comforting thoughts to Danny’s loved ones. May those at the helm of this now be charged and convicted- Donna, Charlie and Wendi Adelson. Was it worth it? May they not have one moment of peace now going forward as the cases are built and delivered against them. May Dan Markel rest.

I remember this day well. Went to a friends house for a Friday night wine night. Came home, checked Google news and saw the verdict. I watched this in shock. Shocked that the jury actually came through and we got some justice for Dan.

The only question still outstanding for me is: who paid for her upper-tier Miami legal defense (6 years and counting)? There was an in camera discussion about it with with previous judge, so it's certainly on their mind. I wonder if the threat of withdrawing financial support for your legal counsel would be motivating not to just take a deal? A person with a plea agreement, or looking into one, would still desperately need quality legal counsel.

I started drinking and cleaning my house when they began deliberating and randomly walked by my office when they were finished and Wheeler made the announcement!

What kind of lawyer takes a chance on a life sentence she should of been advised to sing like a bird. Her arrogance will cost her life and well deserved.

Wow, didn’t realize Katie Magbuana’s lawyer’s sister was working on the case as well. They look so much like each other. 1:20. That being said, it will trickle down to you soon enough Wendi. She was driving around the crime scene when it happened and she usually doesn’t go in that direction/area. She knew exactly what was happening. Hopefully they can come up with enough evidence to have her indicted.

Great job jurors and all concerned in the case. Now for the real instigators, the Adelsons, be interesting to see if justice is blinded by their millions of dollars worth of legal talent.
