I watch Fox website from time to time, only to witness how biased they might get, how they avoid to reveal some important facts or breaking news, how they insist on the same diversion matters, how they give a free pass to corrupted elected republicans and how everything the Biden administration does is wrong. I'm a senior white woman, and I have only watched fox in snippets from time to time to see what they are up to. They work very hard to keep their viewers riled up with misinformation and disinformation. It's their bread-and-butter tactic. Their viewers are gullible and are told they are being disenfranchised and played when it is fox that is playing them to the hilt for $$$. All one has to do to see it is to actually listen to the words and watch the actions of the people they report on to see how much they lie to their viewers who never bother to check what they are being told. It's like watching an extreme exploitive trash rag magazine but in the format of a so-called news network.

@simonpaine2347 You are assuming the gag order wasn't specific. It actually was. The gag order uses the word "any" -- this covers social media. The facts are donald already defied the gag order -- he's a psychopath who's intentionally pushing & taunting the judge to put him in jail. The judge knows he's already scheduled to decide on this point on Apr. 24th, and knows if he jails donald (first time a former president is jailed), then donald will tell his people to riot & be violent. This makes the courts worry.

@wordwarrior2350 No. You're assuming a minimum wage that very few people get. If you work 24 hours/day, for every day of the year, you'll work 8,760 hours in a year. If you're paid today's federal $7.50 minimum wage per hour, you'll make max $65,700 for the year (and you'll lose a part to taxes, & NEVER sleep, bathe, etc. for a year). Impossible using even your numbers of 20, 350 & $15. Using your numbers of 20 hours/day & 350 days/year, they'll work 7000 hours per year. At $7.50, they earn $52,500 gross income. Even if they got a $15/hour minimum wage very few people get, they'll pay at least $24,000 in federal & state taxes, netting about $75,000 in a year -- with almost no time to sleep, commute to that job, bathe, eat, etc. It's impossible. *They'll d'ie within a month.*

There are intermediate steps that can have equal impact. He can be placed in a separate room to remotely watch the proceedings. He would be monitored by court staff and secret service. He would then be free when proceedings are ended. It would be a sort of "in court detention". He can send and receive messages from his attorneys but he would not be allowed a cellphone. It's not jail and wouldn't impact his trial proceedings but would definitely send a message to him.

Minimum 2 weeks in prison, plus a steep fine. When in jail, zero access to phones or any digital devices. Steeper penalties for subsequent infractions.

I have a friend whose father served in the United States Navy during the Israel and Egypt 1967-69 war. According to him every time the United States fighter jets left the ships whenever they returned on board their gun's potholes were black which shows that those planes were heavy in fighting on the side of Isreal. Yet the United States had said that it was not involved in the fighting with Egypt and Israel in the 1967-9 war. Who should we believe?

2 comments from me now, the 1st is this, as of 2:15 pm EDT I saw it to the internet that the judge has seated all 6 alternates to the 12 jurors for this case, today is April 19, 2024. The 2nd comment is about this video, when you played the video of Trump's comments outside the courtroom, where he said that as he named the states he said he should have been, I yelled at the screen, "shut up stupid, you should be in jail"

Why is no one talking about this probability. I think there will be a problem with only 6 alternates. If the trial last 8-10 weeks at a burn rate of one jury member a week we are at misstrial at week 7

Of course, his attorneys have an easy, and accurate way out: 'Your honor, my client is obviously too stupid to know how quotations work. He didn't know the words had to be the same. He's not very good at words, you see.'
