I don't think she is "more CORRUPT" than the pResident of Mar-A-Lago, but she's apparently competing for that title! (The Supreme Court head of the 11th Circuit {C. Thomas} holds a level of corruption that also is in competition.) Let's hope the 11th Circuit panel (between _loose_ Cannon & Thomas) will again prove themselves to be worthy of the black robes they wear.

I agree, "It's a sad day," but I haven't seen anywhere near enough evidence to think she's "more CORRUPT" than the orange skid mark. Cannon is however, one of the countless enablers who give him all his power. I also see no soul in her eyes. Not proof, but she appears dead inside. That can't be good!

It is very hard for me to imagine a person who got through law school and made it to a judgeship, to be as evidently stupid as the loose cannon. If I was young, and sitting on the bench, and had been already reversed twice by my superiors, I would understand that I needed to be more vigilant in applying the law. She is throwing away her life as a judge for a con artist, and he would throw her under the bus for any reason that came to his decrepid mind. Three strikes and she will be out !

It should be illegal for any justice to oversee any defendant that they have appointed to the court system. This is such a huge conflict of interest. She has made numerous obvious mistakes in Trumps favour. She must be removed before the jury is put in place. It seems likely she will cause a mis-trial so Trump gets a free pass.

I would have thought in that way she could be finished as any of being a judge, federal or not. There must be a way to stop her?

She wants to dismiss it after the jury is sworn and the State rests it's case. Then double jeopardy would apply and he wins, but not for long. Cannon would lose this plot on appeal.

Firstly, I enjoy your news segments, Lawrence. Secondly, Cannon, not only needs to be removed from THIS case but should be removed from the bench entirely. She is clearly not qualified to be in the position Trump placed her. I'm confused how this does NOT serve to be a 'conflict of interest', given that this person is the one who appointed her in the first place. Simply mind boggling!

by waiting till trial starts to rule that the pra prevents tfg from being convicted in this case, cannon is effectively planning to preempt a jury trial and turn this into a bench trial with a ruling of not guilty.

No way no way no way should a judge a defendant appointed to a LIFETIME TENURE be allowed to adjudicate said defendant's case. Aileen Cannon is ANYTHING but "highly respected".
