These very common faults with the boxing stance. Make sure you avoid them! @myboxingcoach #shorts #myboxingcoach #boxingtraining #boxingfitness #boxingskills #fransands #boxinglife #motivation #boxing #boxingworkout
The last point is wrong. It is very possible to box with a forward pointing lead foot. Most of the boxers in the 40s and 50s (Marciano, Louis, Walcott, etc.) did to great effect. I think it honestly just depends on the boxer themselves
I'm with you. One of the greatest of my lifetime, idolised his style. Did this video analysis a good while back, specifically of his bout with Rosario, but that fight I think allowed him to show his range of skills. Hope you find the time to check it out - www.myboxingcoach.com/julio-cesar-chavez-rosario/
I only disagree on the foot pointing many boxers point thier foot forward it's not common but can be used as long as you don't have a reaching issue it shouldn't be a problem now it is true the hinged hip allows for proper projection of the punch while stopping it from going off course but if your correct in technique that rear hand comes straight back anyways
