I've owned this car since 34k miles and currently have 100k miles now so I feel like my opinion is valid here lol but in all seriousness these are my OPINIONS not professional advice but make sure you stick to the end for the exhaust clips and thanks to anyone who made it to the end I really do enjoy this car and hope any future camaro owners do as well

Beware of the oil pump failures, oil pickup tubes, and O-rings. These will go bad in the LS3 motor.

My motor seized cuz my dumbass drove it overheating and it was the oil pump 😭

The cam is smaller in the L99 and the pistons have valve relief so the compression is slightly less as well. Those are the major differences. There are a few other differences but its irrelevant for power.

The ZL1 has an LSA motor with an Eaton Blower, Z28 has a LS7 Motor. The SS was the only 5th Gen with a LS3 all completely different motors similar but very different. Good video bro

best mod i've done is by far the RPI designs cupholder add-on lol. a bit pricey but its a simple little thing and that solves the shifting issue with drinks haha

Please change your trans fluid. Thats how my 14 2ss trans went bad. Lesson learned. 5th gens aint the fastest thing on the road, but there great muscle cars to have fun in

I just got the exact same car, red seats and outside. Im just worried because in the near future i was thinking about boosting. But I’ve heard the cylinder heads are thin can’t support over a certain amount. And i dont have the money to get the block resleeved

got a 2012 2ss, it had stock suspension and i did detroit speed front and rear sway bars and heavy duty end links and it makes a HUGE difference in body roll. well worth the money in my opinion!

1 7/8th long tubes and headers and stock npp 2.5 inch exhaust

At one point my heads got replaced and shortly after an injector went bad so once I replaced it cleaned them out with Sea foam and went catless the mpg just went way up
