I have an R1T lease delivering at the end of March. $79K for a dual motor large pack (the 70 miles range was well worth the $10K from standard). For me, i gained the $7500 rebate off the lease, am looking at a 62% residual and a money factor of 0.00173 which puts it at 4.152% APR which is pretty good. If I bought a used rivian i wouldve paid those 10.25% taxes in my zip up front instead of deferred with the lease. Also theres a lot of uncertainty with Rivians growing pains and ability to repair and get parts that I want to see play out first. I also never have kept a car longer than 3 years and my needs constantly change so who knows if I'd be better off buying a used R1S by then :)

Getting both, lease from Rivian. completed steps on r1s, and waiting for r1t to open in 1-4 weeks per Rivian website. Leasing, so I can get the newest one in 3 years and get tax deductions for my business. Ty for video.

I picked up a used 2022 R1T Launch Edition with 5k miles for $69k. Around $30k off today's msrp! It has every factory upgrade including PPF (besides the black interior). I had $20k equity in my old Model S so trading and buying used was the right move for me. Leasing seems like an option but the fees were a little too much.

Your video doesn’t address the $7500 off msrp on rivian website( that only applies with a lease)

Hi Vince yes I should have mentioned that. I did say they have some great lease deals on their website but I should have been more clear about the $7,500 cap cost reduction on the lease.

That wasn’t very helpful content. Do you need to be driving to discuss lease vs buying used or new? Otherwise just driving around a bit more dangerous without notes to speak to.
