Charles, you and Jeremie allude to the time of year, but don’t really talk about the type of training he’s been doing between the tests and what trajectory his 1 & 5min power would be normally (presuming he has years of testing data) in October. Can you comment on that at all and does it corroborate the conclusion Jeremie comes to that the Airofit helped him?n. Thanks.
As far as I know your lung is not your limiting factor in the body. It's the muscles. So I would rather save my money on this gadget. If you wan't to improve your VO2Max, do some VO2Max Intervalls. That will help you to gain the 6% as well...
Yes, but what if you ALSO do those VO2Max intervals? Breathing and air intake is usually the bottleneck. Of course this device is not for everyone! Most of people will be better off training better, but I feel this is just an other tool to add to your arsenal if you're looking at very high results with limited training time!
@@CharlesOuimet i was not completely right. referring to the following video, coming from a channel with sportsscientific background, the heart is the limiting factor. Unfortunately its in German. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zRQBP7_P6l0.html As i said, i d rather save the money or spent it on different things. This seems more like a marketing-making-sense thing but misses the scientific background. To proof that it works it would need two groups with the same level, doing the same training. One without the thing and one with. If you'll see a difference then we can talk about it :)
I just do not understand this.... as far as i can tell airofit just measures results...so how does it improve your vo2??? the training does that right? confess i did not watch the whole thing. generally i enjoy the channel, but this one escapes my brain... (did not "like" or "dislike")
Great demo. I tried buying the unit using the link provided, but there no place I can enter the discount code at check out. Hence I did not make the purchase.
