We follow Dave Ramsey’s baby steps so I couldn’t agree with you more. I’d love to drop 5k on all brand new gear right now but it’s one purchase at a time and all cash.

Good video. Always enjoy the content. I try like hell not to be an impulse buyer, but it happens. I tell the most fun I have is usually with a cheap Eagle Claw 5wt fiberglass rod and Cabelas click and paw reel.

It’s difficult to master the impulse! Hahah! But yeah, totally agree with the cheap rod. So many great memories with cheap basspro special

If I can see it in person and try it I won't have buyers remorse. Unfortunately where I live choice is quite limited so online ordering is sometimes required that has caused remorse. Good to see you back.

Didn’t go into debt but I’ve got a couple of rods that I thought would be game changers that I’ve only fished a few times. Definitely impulse buys

I have experienced that too but with conventional gear(when i was big into musky fishing). Just got caught up in the hype, it happens! Hahah! Thanks for the comment
