For sockets I really like the tekton socket rails. Tekton also has some really convenient size labels for the sockets so you can see whats missing from both side and top

Very well done. I need to investigate these. On the tipping socket concern, you could run a 1X2 along the back of the drawer. In your case you could paint it to match your drawer color and put some rare earth magnets in the bottom. If you you have the room you could put a strip in between as many rows as feasible. This is obviously optional. Great job on the video.

Give Westling Machine a try. I love their socket organizers. Aluminum plates with steel pins that grip the sockets surprisingly well while just slipping off when needed.

Hello Toy Shop 9665 I just found your channel and subscribed. I too have the Toolbox Widgets Organizers for my wrenches and screwdrivers. I had to wait until I started my new job to help pay for the rest. I was really looking forward to seeing how the sockets drawer came out. Did you go with the pegs for the shallow sockets? How did it come out? I still have sockets and pliers to get organized. Again thank you 😊

Do you think that the magnets on the toolbox widget would prevent shifting of your tools if your box was installed in a trailer going down the road?

Hmmm idk about that. Because gravity is really all that keeps the tools in the widget. I don’t think the widget would move but I can see the tools falling out of or off of the widget. Idk if I’d trust it. You could always order one kit and try it but idk about like a service truck application and bouncing up and down

Kinda disappointing. I love the wrench organizers and sockets but you’re right. Ratchets and extensions need something else.

You get 15 wrench holders or 12 socket holders for $20. It’s still expensive but not as bad as you’re thinking 😂
