my hair is growing so fast since I’ve went natural it’s been about a year and 3 months and it’s already longer than when I was relaxed. deep conditioning and trims and oil helps tremendously

I have suffered so many split ends!!! Now I have started getting my hair dusted every 2 months (just dusting that’s it) and now, my hair is super healthy and getting longer now 😊

D'Nea Galbraith hi! Oh gosh! I tried to trim my ends myself but again I would do it every 6-7 months and this was bad because I didn’t realize I had split ends - so I get them dusted professionally now, every 2 months and l wish I could post a pic here so you can see the major growth from March until now.... and some people say “don’t trim because you are cutting off all your growth) but you’re not.. our hair grows around 1/2 inch every month so in 2 months I should have 1 inch of growth and the stylist only dust 1/4 of an Inch and that’s it!

Thanks for this video! I was thinking about cutting my hair pretty short but now I’m rethinking about how much I’m going to cut off. I really didn’t think about all the things you said. I do take care of my hair but I did just assume that having shorter hair would be a lot easier. Now I know it’s pretty much the same as when your hair is longer.

Best experience of my life and one of the best decisions I made ahhh my confidence was boosted up and I saw the real me that God created like I was relaxed since I was 10 and then I cut it when I was 16 and it’s growing and I thought it would ever grow but it did and I’m in love with it and everything ahhhh yessss

It's from a product the single strain knots as well as twisting it so much. I had to start braiding it out until I found right product which as only Cantu leave in not with Aragon oil it's a big difference my hair hates that stuff. And use cold water rinses to hold moisture as well.

Thank You for this video. I appreciate the heads up. I’ve done big chops before but I kind of forgot what is like and your right lol. Now I’m going to do a big chop and the main reason is because my hair is thinning so it has to go. Wish me luck!!! I need to treat it and stop covering it with protective hair styles because it’s adding to my thinning.

Lafamilia Goose I have never done a big chop but my hair is thinning and so uneven. I have bleached and dyed it too much in the past 10 months so I am really leaning to starting fresh.

I've been natural for about 2 years, and it is very unmanageable. I would love a nice bob, but I don't want a messed up haircut. When my hair is silk pressed it reaches the middle of my back.

I needed this video. Recently did the big chop... mainly on the front of my hair and it was great. But when I did my first wash and go yesterday the products I used on the back barely worked for the front. Also when I was in the shower my new front curls was popping but after the styling part it looked like a puffy little shit with little curl definition. Guess I have to wait and figure it out lmao

You can twist your hair and clip it since your at 6months. When I big chop I could twist at 3months even though took time. Have you tried twist outs? Alot people i see dont trim until 10-12months.
