I agree with Iris, this is the best Canva related channel on RU-vid. I love this video! When I'm searching through Canva's logo templates, instead of searching for the type of business, I like to search for the aesthetic style I want to use. For example, modern, boho, elegant, minimalist, rustic, vintage, etc. It's easier to switch out some elements than to redesign the whole thing for a different feel. For example, I can put a coffee cup in for a cafe, a cat for a veterinarian, etc.. But if I want to change it from modern to boho, I basically have to start from scratch. Hi sir , first of all , you are doing an amazing job by teaching Canva ❤️ I have made a logo which has a purple background . This coloured background restricts me to use the logo in some pictures. I want to have a non background logo so that the logo would have the same background as the picture I use . Basically , I don't want a fixed background to the logo . How to do it sir ? Sir I hope you understand my question and will reply this . 😀
Hi Prem, you can export your designs in .PNG format with a transparent background IF you are a Canva Pro user. Free users don't have this feature. I hope this answers your question. If you look in the descriptions of our videos you can find a free trial for Canva Pro 😎
Sorry if this has been asked before. What if i subscibe to Canva Pro so I can use their pro images to make a logo for a small business but then I don't renew my canva pro subscription. Because I no longer have a subscription to canva pro am I no longer able to use the logo to represent my business?
Canva recommends you only use basic shapes, fonts and lines to create logos, like I explain in the video. However, if you use other types of elements, make sure you read the licensing agreements carefully: www.canva.com/help/article/licenses-copyright-commercial-use
@@TeamRonDi yeah i did come across this page but I'm still confused. What I understand is if i have a pro subscription i can make designs with pro images and use them commercially. (Within certain terms) If I'm a free user I can still use pro images but ill need to pay a small one time fee per pro image and per design. But what if i made the design whilst i was a pro subscriber and then after a year I cancel my subscription. Have I then got to go through all my designs and pay for all the pro images or is ok to use them without paying because i was a pro member at the time I made them. Ive chucked the question on the Canva reddit.

I'm building my website with WordPress and need a logo for it. Being that I will be selling Astrophotography prints I wanted to create my own logo. Thank you for creating this video. It's a challenge building a website for the first time but learning astrophotography and getting my images to look good enough to be in an art gallery was a brutal learning curve. You make this part of the process easy.

So, I make my logo by combining letters by using a free fonts from Canva and i didn't use any Canva's photo, graphics, videos but i just use Canva's free fonts. So just to explain my process of making logo, basically I used free fonts in Canva called "Atsanee" and I used 3 letters of my name to create my logo. Then i arranged & combined the 3x letters into become a unique shape & i didn't use any photos, videos, graphics but just 3x letters using free fonts called Atsanee. Btw, i have checked that there is no other similar logo like my logo. So, does this mean my logo:- 1. Can be register as a trademark? 2. Will i get an exclusive license? 3. Will i get a copyright protection?

I have a trademarked 'phrase' that I use that represents my brand (not a design logo). Can I use the Canva fonts and add the TM behind the phrase without breaking the Canva rules?

Yes you could. I know many people who design things in Canva for clients. Logos can be a bit tricky in Canva sometimes, because you can’t always trademark them. Make sure you understand Canva’s licensing agreements.
