Just a quick FYI, the background check that Belize does takes about three months, so plan ahead. This program allows you to apply BEFORE you are in Belize so I suggest start early! QRP applicant, enjoying the Belize Vibe 👍😁👍
thanks for the info but that sounds like a lot of hassle just to visit the country for a few months a year I will be going again to Belize but I will stay as a tourist
@@Sluggo01 Sorry that reply went to the wrong comment. You would need to get international health insurance for your visit. In most situations, Medicare won't pay for health care or supplies you get outside the U.S. The term “outside the U.S.” means anywhere other than the 50 states of the U.S., the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
@@WillMitchellBelize any inside help you can give me will be appreciated thank you and you have a great video. 68yr old male good health, degree in electronics.
Will-- I am planning to move to Belize via the tourist route with my OLD campervan motorhome. I have a 10 yr RV TIP in Mex-- what do you think is the best way to import it affordably? Was initially considering doing runs to Chetumal for new 30-90 Belize TIPs until permanent residency, but it's looking like it won't matter when I import it. Will I qualify for any exemptions if its old and I'm not doing QRP? I am seeing mixed answers regarding how long the TIP will last (usually 30 days and extendable up to either 3 or 6 months?)
Moving to Belize is always a good choice lol. You can stay as long as you like you just need to extend your tourist visa on a monthly basis at the immigration office
