I’ve actually went and decluttered my liquid shadow and most of them were dried out. It was really disappointing see a bunch of money wasted. So I’m personally not going to buy any liquid eyeshadows anymore and stick to glitter powder shadows, cream pots/cream shadow sticks. These items were so hot in 2016 but in the long run - they are not a great investment
Same, most liquid shadows I use for event or occasion makeup and I just cannot justify buying these types often they dry out before I can get any use out of them.
The only ones I have that have not done that are the glossier lidstar. I think they may have reformulated them tho bc i recently bought one and it wasn't as glittery and pretty. It looked matte.
Thanks for this. A video for satin to wet effect eyeshadows that have no visible glitter/shimmer, kind of like the Surratt Ciel Dore please! Just a beautiful healthy eyelid look with sheen which could even pull a your-eyelid-but-better depending on the color.
Fabulous. Just awesome. Also I think k the Focallure brand is C beauty. I currently live in South Korea and ran across a little single eyeshadow from a brand called LAKA. They are powders and wet wet wet
I have the stila glimmer color Oasis. The video doesn’t do it justice! It is so sparkly with blue and pink and silver over the warm copper color- just unique and beautiful
I love the Rimmel Wondercloud Matte Shadows, aside from them l try not to buy liquid shadows as l just feel they always end up meh on my middle aged eyes. Would love to see some new KBeauty hits & absolutely another one & done.... trick question right 😉❤️
Amanda, thank you for being honest about the mess the RMS eye-lights unfortunately make, I have the exact same issue which is very frustrating bc I waste more product than I use it, and not one other RMS reviewer has mentioned it other than you which tells me you truly are honest ❤
Great content and info, as always! I do love your decluttering videos so much - the in-depth descriptions are always so super helpful! I have a little tip that you can try - if you unroll the bottom of those squeeze tubes, it helps prevent the product from gushing out. (I don't quite know the mechanics of why this is, but it's always worked for me!)
Liquid eyeshadows are right up my alley so I was so interested in this video when it popped up. 😊. Getting your thoughts and feedback on performance, longevity and how easy or difficult a formula is to work with is so incredibly helpful. These are the things you will never get from a swatch. It will help you decide on colour but that’s it. The colors of Lisa Eldridge’s are stunning visually, but what color, undertone, and/or shifts does a Bianca have?! Or a Lily?! So frustrating especially for the price. I know most times you can return it, but it would make life so much simpler to describe what a Bianca or Lily looks like! Ex: “Our beautiful Bianca is a mid tone pink that leans more cooler by its self but paired with XYZ will warm it right up!” I love the company’s that are taking the time to do this. I feel far more inclined to purchase from them. Saying I appreciate that they are truly trying to help me to not only find an eyeshadow, but something that actually suits me. Loving the fact that almost all the new foundations, tints, concealers are doing this now. Less people walking around looking like Umpa Loompas! 😅
hey amanda! there are 2 more shades of the ulta long wear matte cream shadows! they're just in a different tube now! also yes to the new one-and-done video! (a wet-look glitter topper video would be awesome too! and a "bed room eyes brown" video like Kackie did!)
I alwayyys love one and done shadow videos from you! I am always on the hunt for new one and dones, with my eye currently on the kulfi pots (I have been on a love affair with Hourglass scattered lights, Urban Decay Moondust and Kaja mostly because of you).
Fantastic video, as usual! ❤ I have a couple of questions and suggestions for formulas to try/review. Stila - have you tried their mattes? Theres a light blue and a grungy green that i love. I think you'd like the formula of those as well. Also, TJ Maxx has been an excellent spot to find all varieties of the Stila liquid shadows. Armani - Get your hands on the shade "Cold Copper" and thank me later. It is one of the most beautiful and nuanced taupes in my collection. Love! Ulta - you may have already discovered this when you went to link the Ulta shadows, but they've changed the packaging, added more shades and discontinued others. I'm dying to know if they changed the formula as well. Please investigate! (For science, you know!) 🧐 Moira - the brand has so many different lines of cream and liquid shadows and pigments. I would love to see an Amanda-style deep dive into the the various lines and compare it to others on the market....not like "dupes" but possibly affordable alternatives. For example, how do the pigments compare to those of Denessa Myricks or Hindash? Can they really be used all over the face as the others can? How about the new liquid multichromes? How do they compare to the ones by DM or Natasha Denona? Or how do the compare to other more affordable brands that have dipped their toes into multichromes? (ELF, Juvia's Place, Colourpop, and several other drugstore brands. Its a trend thats definitely picking up steam with a more affordable pricepoint). While they are likely not comparable to real indie brands, can they still be good in its own right? And how about their newish cream potted shadows--anything like Merit or Charlotte Tilbury? Lastly, there are some cream-ajacent glitter potted shadows. I'd love to see how they work against an Hourglass scattered lights or an Urban Decay moondust shadow. I think Moira gives a lot to work with in this department and this could be a nugget of an idea for a Buy This/Not That kind of video too. Just something to ponder. I would love to hear your thoughts and analysis on these products. RMS - There are a number of shades that are taupe-y colors (like you mentioned a taupey-pink thats hard to find). RMS has taupey purples, taupey red-browns, and a lot more. You should check out more shades. Yes, the packaging sucks, but the shades and the formula is sooo good! Lastly, have you checked out ILLIA'S cream shadows? They come in a great variety of muted mattes and i think they are lovely. There is a taupey purple-grey that i love. They've also fairly recently added more shades, including some more grungy ones. Its another formula i think you'd enjoy. And dont sleep on the cream shadows by SYDNEY GRACE. They have glittery ones, metallic ones--even multichromes (even neutral-girl friendly m/c!)!! Love your videos, Amanda! I often watch with a notepad and take copious notes of formulas and shades to try. I also save many of your videos that I reference time and time again. You are so helpful in navigating such a saturated market. ❤Hope to see an updated one-n-done video soon!! ❤❤❤
Thanks for this video! I was eyeing the RMS ones but after seeing how unpractical the packaging is 😮 I would not longer purchase them. Instead I will purchase a couple of more from Ellis Faas creamy eyes! Highly recommend them!
Do you still have the Armani Eye Tint in the shade Cold Copper 9? The shade was sadly discontinued in Canada and I was wondering if you could recommend a dupe? Thank you.
It would be very good if you made a selection of the best k beuty shadows, because I see you from Chile and I do not have access to most of the American shadows that you show unfortunately or for some that can be imported you have to pay a lot for shipping, more than shadows are worth 😭
I love the RMS shadows so much too but why this packaging with the endless mess? Ugh. I am super careful too but I still waste so much. I hope they consider changing this.
Wow! What is the eyeshadow featured on your finger in the video’s thumbnail? Also, I really love these long format videos and watching you play with the product! Thank you!!!
Those danessa myrick ones don't look very shiny/metallic ..... nowhere near any of the others....What eyelid gloss to u recommend babe???? I'm loving this video. I love all the metallic wet looking shadows that u love😍😍😍
I LOVE the RMS eyelights, but the packaging really does suck! I’ll suffer though because I love the formula. The new shade, Supernova, reminds me of Dior Beige Mitzah in cream form!
amanda please for the love of god play with other colors of eyeshadow other than wet look bronze. i’m begging you, you have 5000 eyeshadows in 1 shade lol
