Sedona offers many beautiful options if you're looking to get out and explore the iconic beautiful red rocks. Have you hiked Devil's Bridge before? Let us know some of your favorite hikes in the comments!
We did it yesterday, July 15, 2023 started about 9:30 in the morning it was 105°. When we came out you’re correct the camera doesn’t do it justice it’s just absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking.
Thanks for sharing! We are excited to get to visit this area this year. Really helpful to get the advice from you all and see it firsthand before we go 🤗
Glad it was helpful! It's definitely a must do... get there early and don't go in the summertime if you can plan it that way. Thanks so much for watching!
We're glad you enjoyed following along with us! I feel like we could easily spend a week in Sedona exploring all the different hiking spots, vortexes, and off-road trails! We do have one more Sedona video in the chute - more scenic drives as well as sunrise over the red rocks, and the incredible Chapel of the Holy Cross! Happy Holidays Norm and Kim!
Hi! Wow, thank you for sharing, another place to add to our "let's go there" trip My wife and I love traveling and discovering places and its so nice to find other people that loves this too. Keep up the good work, and what a blessing to be able to share that passion between you guys!!
Thanks so much! It's fun exploring our own backyard in Arizona and sharing it with others - it gives us a whole new appreciation! Thanks a ton for watching and commenting, that's awesome! 😀 Aaron & Nicole
This hike looks like fun. You have so much beautiful footage here. Would love to check this out the next time we are in Arizona. Thanks for taking us along with you!
We did this hike two weeks ago and we took the longer trail "Devil's Bridge via Chuck Wagon" which made the round trip closer to 8 miles but it was a more traditional trail.
Hi friends. Every time we watch one of your videos, it makes us want to get to planning our trip out west! It was so nice to go along with you on this trip/hike. Living vicariously! Ha ha - the sign creators are not very good at secrets. We've decided you're some of our people...considering lunch before deciding if the wait for pictures on the bridge would be worth it. It was worth it! Thanks so much for sharing this video!
Aw thanks so much for the kind feedback! This hike was SO incredible - as always, the video doesn't do it justice! And food is super important - that's one of the bummer things about starting early (we woke up at 5am - stay tuned for the next video about that!)... too early to eat breakfast, and you can do a lot before lunch time! And we LOVE to eat! We think you're some of our type of people too - hopefully our paths cross some day in the future! Thanks for your continual support, it means so much! And congrats on the growth of your channel as well, it's incredible!
We just added this to our listing things to do when we visit in May. Beautiful footage and area. Cameras don’t often capture how amazing places are but you give us a great sense of it. Thanks! -Chris & Suzannah
You really can't go wrong in Sedona - anywhere you go is going to afford some amazing views. May will probably be a little warm - just act like you're still in the military and wake up at 0500 to get out there and you'll be fine (plus you'll miss the bulk of the crowd!)
@@LivinginOurNow 0500 does sound nice...to me. Suzannah dumped that as soon as she retired so getting her up that early will be a task. Maybe I'll entice her with a wonderful cup of coffee.
It is such a beautiful area - there's not a bad view anywhere! We would certainly recommend visiting if you have Arizona on your list. Thanks for following along!
Yes! Working in an ER we always think of the worst scenario as well. This hike looks amazing but intense! Cheaper than Disney 😂 Thanks for all the information, we really need to get out of this 20 degree weather and come to Arizona! Safe travels!! ~Renee and Kyle
I (Aaron) am NOT a Disney[land/world] fan. I'm impatient and don't like lines! But for this, I'm glad we stuck it out. And yes, you guys really need to make it out this way - hopefully when you do our paths can cross!
Sorry we're just now getting to watch this video! Looks like an awesome hike and 100% agree that you made the right decision to get that picture on the bridge. Denim? SMH..haha! Wasn't expecting there to be that long of a line, but I suppose it makes sense given the popularity. Great stuff you two!
I still can't believe I hiked in jeans... it's not my first rodeo. I have since remedied the situation and bought some "hiking" pants that even convert to shorts... guess I'm officially old?!? Definitely an incredible hike - the line sucked but there's times it's longer and thankfully everyone was in good spirits. Hope you guys are having a great start to your New Year, thanks for all the support!
This was pretty helpful! I am 14 and going there in 3 weeks for my spring break (which also happens to be the same week as AZ's spring break yay) and we are bringing my grandparents while renting an ATV. I am so excited to go and can't wait for the hiking!
That's awesome! We would love to explore some of the trails on an ATV, that's definitely on our list of future desired excursions. It's a beautiful area, you're going to have a blast!
Thank you guys for this video. We are planning to revisit Sedona later this year. Devil’s Bridge trail is definitely on our bucket list. The last time we were in Sedona we hiked Bell Rock Canyon trail.
I did this hike several years ago myself but instead of walking the dirt road, I took a side trail, a traditional trail, and came out where you would enter the last mile to the bridge. Can’t remember the trail name off hand but the trail head is right there at the parking lot. Went back two years ago and took my son this time, we absolutely loved it! Highly recommend it!
I think you're referring to the Chuck Wagon Trail connector - totally avoids the main road and any jeep interruptions! We thought about doing that route but weren't sure how much time it was gonna add. We'll definitely check it out next time we go!
@@LivinginOurNow Yes Chuckwagon trail! Now I remember. It is a little longer time wise but with some awesome views. We returned on the Jeep road but Chuckwagon was so much nicer!
@@LivinginOurNow yes, Chuckwagon trail, now I remember! It is a little longer time wise but with some great views. We even watched some Hot Air Ballonists over the valley from Chuckwagon. We returned on the dirt Jeep road but Chuckwagon was so much nicer!
We would have been so disappointed if we had just left. And the way it works getting your picture taken is you just hand your camera/phone off to the next person in line, and they take it for you! It's a convenient system for sure :)
How long was the hike and how long did you spend hiking (not waiting in line) I’m 7 months pregnant and trying to decide if I should do this one tomorrow or a different trail
Hi! Sorry for the delay in responding... doing parts of the hike would be pretty challenging pregnant, especially during the summer! I wanna say the hiking itself was about 2.5 hours. What did you end up doing?
Mountains are the best! We'll never again live in an area with little/no topography (we lived in the Midwest for a while). We have not done the Apache Trail, but the Superstition Mountains are on our list, so we'll definitely check it out!
@@LivinginOurNow After experiencing the mountains, can't blame anyone for having that outlook on desiring a life near them. But living on the Great Lakes...we are spoiled. LOVE being 10 minutes away what feels like an ocean when you see it. Such peace, such fun.
What an amazing place to hike i think those views are totally worth it guys. The bridge wow made for an amazing picture worth it. Just hit the sub button hope to see you guys on our channel as well. Max_Your_Journey (Alvin)
That’s gonna be the next stop on our list! Just subscribed on my account and my girlfriends account too👍 we’ve been living on the road for almost a year now🙌
