Oh noooo the Ayato simps are angry (i love ayato too and i used to main him) but even i know that,even if Ayato was level 90,his damage wouldn't increase a lot tf,it wouldn't even be doing the same damage fast as Neuvillette!! I'm someone who regrets leveling Ayato to 90,bc i could've leveled up other characters to 90 instead of him. Also y'all know that Ayato LITERALLY has such stupidly low scalings on his skills,and it's attack scaling and his clone is hp scaling,like hoyo did him dirty by giving him such low scalings,just like they did to so many other characters too. It's crazy that C6 Ayato isn't even near Neuvillette's Level. Hp% damage dealers are just way more better tbh,I rlly hope Hoyo adds more hp scaling characters,that can deal tons of damage at C0 and that they have satisfying fast gameplay and animations like Neuvillette & Yelan.

I can let Neuvillette solo the abyss and it's absolutely insane. He does an insane amount of damage and heals himself. Best dps in the game in my opinion.

I'm so happy that i don't need comparison videos to decide who i need pull for ..I have both, but Ayato's gameplay is so much more fun to me...i can use him in so many teams...Neuv becomes boring after a while, but Ayato's satisfying slashes...oh..never...😌 And yes... Ayato is not strong as Neuvillete, as no DPS in this game can be... Neuvillete is the strongest DPS in the game, so all these comparison videos are just a totally nonsense...pull for the character you feel like and have fun with 😉

I was confused my Neuvi did only 15k damage per tick on the abyss run since his normal damage is around 20k to 25k then I found out he's using one star weapon which is lvl 1 that I forgot to change back lol. He is so broken, easy to built and f2p friendly. If you manage to get his C1, you can beat the abyss solo easily. The only downside is I get bored playing him and lose motivation to built him since he already does some big damage numbers consistently even with my chunky artifacts. Meanwhile my Wrio's damage is only around 30k per CA in burn melt team with Nahida although I farm so hard for him :')

I love Ayato he was my first non-standard 5*character,but i know his damage really doesn't compare to other 5stars ,but his play style is simply beautiful and satisfaction and the reason why i got him

Have both of them and Enjoys both a lot...specially Ayato in Mono Hydro...Ayato , Yelan , Xingqiu and Sucrose...and Neuvillette in Xiangling , Diona and Yaoyao Vape team

I have all the artifact and weapon for neuvilete but i don't have him because his weapon banner are shared with staff of homa and I'm already aimed homa for very long time, lose my weapon banner 2 time before i get homa but i got neuvilete weapon and the standard 5* spear, now my primo beyond 15k and guaranteed I'm gonna pull him on the rerun

As a previous Ayato main, I'd have been THRILLED to get the kind of damage he was doing here. But I guess my build was too crappy lolll. If I end up pulling Neuvillette, I'm hoping he'll be easier to build and doing much bigger numbers with a lot less investment.

Btw I use gaming, xianyun,Xingqiu and I don't have Bennet so i was wondering which artifacts set i should use and which character would be best to replace support like Bennet?

As a water bender main who builds almost all hydro characters (except Barbara because I hate her design, for the contrary I build Candace tho 😅 because I love her design). Here is my conclusion, the must pull is Neuvilette and Furina. Good for your account if you also have Yelan and Kokomi. Only pull if you really really like Sumeru Idol, Ayaka’s Brother, and Childe. Mona is good for support but she is replaceable. Lastly, just don't build Candace even if you have her C6.

Honestly Neuvilette is so busted especially with Furina and his C1. I kinda feel bad for my Ayato and Childe, I built them for months, got them their weapon then when Neuvilette came home I forgot about them even with his wonky artifacts and that BP weapon.

Me having none of them bcs i already spend some on kazuha and saving for shenhe, furina, and xianyun rerun.

no cause I got him already .. 😂 arrlechino is priority especially with Natlan around the corner and characters there probably having kits and etc that synergies with new bond of life stuff… I’m preparing for the future new comps not recent passing ones.. sumeru showed us dendro was king.. fontaine showed us healing and draining was king… I got a feeling arrlechino is showing us entire new meta kit will come… so I feel if I miss out on arlecchino im staring off weak in Natlan when new likely bon if life style characters come… 🤔

I think I stated it once but I'll say it again, there's literally no powercreep in damage in genshin, the only powercreep is your comfort and setting up the rotations which neuvilete is by far the best but what about damage? If we ignore the massive buff he gets from his catalyst (s.t about 210 which is more broken than having a sixth em goblet) ayato has much more things to catch up to, for example his set, why using him on echo on 160 ping and not on HoD? Using echo at such high ping means ayato doesn't have 4pc resonance 90% of the time and that results to loss of a lot of damage another thing is ayato's best team is national you ask why? Because like literally xiangling is doing half the damage but in the video I just saw the 4-6k not the 40k hits when the owner was simping for child and why is that? There's a reason he didn't showed us xiangling's build besides filling her energy without bennet is a nightmare specially with moving mobs except if you're using fav, besides ayato's rotation are much faster(there's a reason draconic stacks last for 30 seconds while ayato just have a six second skill and six second cooldown), you ask neavillette's team wasn't complete? Well he doesn't really benefit much from anyone at C0 except kazuha and mona but if he does so he's either losing energy for xiangling dragging the rotations longer or losing a stack, all and all both of them in their best teams and same investment for practical situations like abyss it's really up to who you enjoy, everyone's doing the same unless the abyss setup isn't in their favor, nobody's outdamaging no one, that's why beta still exists in genshin

I would say in co-op people don't use them. Neuvillite cause is is 10-20 sec hero and Ayato cause he needs better team. So they only use them in open world. Pity.

I have both. Sometimes it’s just so nice and relaxing to play Ayato since his dashes have wide AOE whereas Neuvi has forward AOE. Ayato can have off field Hydro application but Neuvi, as a whole ass dragon, is not going to benefit anyone else on the team in the slightest. For anyone who doesn’t have either obviously it’s gonna be Neuvi. Ayatos Japanese voice fits a lot better than Neuvis tho!

i have them all, use them all and i think its silly to compare the hydro boys since they have very different funcitions TL;DR: neuvi for raw damage but need to be treated like a hypercarry, ayato for clean hydro app and flexibility but weak, childe for international but only international. and my neuvi is benched lmao neuvilette does more damage with ZERO doubts, however, he feels clunky in anything that doesn't revolve around him. ayato has low scalings but compensate it with smoothness and universatility with reactions, weapons, teammates, artifacts, funny setups, etc. childe still the king when you need damage for a longer time instead of big instances every once in a while, my personal favorite when i just wanna smash buttons and get through the abyss, doesnt have ANY use out of xl-bennett-sucrose (i got personal beef with kazuha dont come at me). ayato for me still my favorite, enables a lot of specific supports and don't mind taking niche/mid units to run along with him (nilou, mika, thoma, candace, yunjin, beidou, miko, layla, dori lmao), also feels smoother to play, doesn't have any units attached to his hip and can be useful off field. even though he is the weakest, he is SO enjoyable. also, believe you or not, my neuvi is benched, he is such a novelty when you get him but boring to a point he ages like milk...

xiangling is not built as a damage dealer so ayato was weak and kazuha was doing a pyro spoiler for xiangling built as a sport. Neuvillette is actually the strongest but characters like Childe and Ayato can't do much without a well-built Xianling because they are drivers.
