More from Entertainment Tonight: bit.ly/1xTQtvw One lucky winner just about had a heart attack after winning $31,500. 'The Price Is Right' airs weekdays on CBS.
Yeah but the $31,500 quickly reduced down to about $20,000 due to taxes, a lot of prize winners who won the showcase and a new car wound up selling a lot of it off to pay the damn TAXES on it all.
so funny when he wanted to hug somebody.. he looks at drew and was like nahhhh... then went around and hugged the girl. Straight seized that opportunity. lmao
What i love about this show is that through all the years the games ave stayed mostly the same with a little updating based on the times but the games are still very simple and that is what makes the show fun, very simple and fun
and all the games are a combination of skill, luck, knowledge, and just common sense. but not crazy specific knowledge, just general knowledge. no insane trivia, no having to memorize every president of every country ever and be able to recite shakespeare, its just "Ok do you have a general knowledge of pricing, a bit of luck, a little hand eye co-ordination occasionally. and for the most part, just about anyone CAN win. its not rigged to be hard. i mean geez half of the games are a simple 50/50 if you dont even think. thats better odds than you'd get at any game in vegas.. (i mean aside from red or black on roulette but thats not exactly a high stakes bet.)
What I like about that show is that from all the years the games are ave stayed exactly the same with a big updating based on the times but the games are still very popular and that is what makes the show joyful, very easy and sweet
I remember watching a contestant put all four of his chips on the “circle” in the word plinko. Three of them went into the $10,000 slot and the other landed right next to it. I’ve never seen anyone do that since. It’s like nobody saw that episode.
How funny would it be if has a heart attack and wretches onto the floor screaming “ Ahhhh my god I’m gonna die call an Ambulance Oh my god” * flails arms around*
It's hard enough just to get one in that space, but he got 3 out 5. Echoing the comment below, it would be phenomenal for someone to get 5 in that space.
The only time this was done similarly was when they were shooting a commercial for the price is right videogame. When taping the show, they forgot to take off the fishing line off the plinko board that made the chip go in 10,000 every time. A girl won 30,000 before a producer realized, ran onstage, and stopped a chip before it fell. This was I believe one of drew's first seasons as host.
It always irritates me watching people play Plinko and place the chip off to some side...don't these people understand Normal Distribution Probability?!?! Good for this guy and his centered placement!!!
