Sadly, I didn’t pass the interview but I still learned a lot and wanted to share my experience and possibly help you avoid the same mistakes I made :) Did you find the video helpful? Please let me know 😊
I'm in third year of my bachelors and I find your videos extremely relatable and helpful. I look forward to your career and your new videos and I would love to talk to you, over discord or something.
Thank you very very much! I‘m also excited to see what is to come ☺️ I‘ve just announced a new discord server for the community! 🤩 A link to the server is in the description of my newest video ☺️
This helps a lot thank you.... you basically cited lots of things from my ML coursebook, so I know if I get an interview, to make sure I know everything in that book, and the maths and idea behind it. I think I will write a big document and memorise the concept, the application, and learn the maths...
I was too! I didn‘t know what to expect and I didn‘t find so much about such interviews online… but I have learned *a lot* from this interview! Also, scientists in general are kind people :) at least in my experience I hope this video helps you with your prep! You got this! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Had a similar experience interviewing at CRED { a big fintech startup in India }, we talked about my projects + tree-based methods and ML fundamentals for 40-45mins, all was going good but then he moved to a standard DSA question which I completely fumbled and panicked over.....
K nearest neighbors is not a clustering algorithm but a search by "proximity/distance" algorithm. Which can be used as a classifier with majority vote etc. you mean KMEAN Clustering algorithm
You can definitely give it a shot and apply. But as you said, it will probably be more difficult. You would need to somehow demonstrate skills equivalent to what would be expected from a Masters's degree. But definitely give it a try!
I'm glad it brought you value ☺️ In the interview they didn't ask any coding questions. But the first stage (out of those two) was the online assessment which pretty much just tests your standard leetcode questions.
