Hello Everyone, In this video, I will discuss my interview experience at Amazon for the Applied Scientist position during my Mtech. In my final semester, I appeared for a few off-campus placement interviews before the Covid wave started. And there was a total of 6 rounds and in this video, I will discuss each of them in detail. So by the end of this video, you will have an idea about what an interview for an Applied Scientist position at amazon looks like.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It is quite useful. After the screening call, how much time they allow you 'till the next round? and how much time between rounds?

Once you will through the screening round, they will ask you for some dates for later rounds. You can take time to prepare and appear for the interview.

Any language of your choice. But python is what everyone choose in general.

Bhaiya, in MTech placements from IITs (CSE branch), how are the chances to get placed as a BlockChain Developer with a good package? Like, are there a good amount of companies which come On-Campus in good colleges to hire as a BlockChain Developer and giving really good packages? Or, for now, on companies coming on-campus for hiring as Blockchain developer and giving handsome packages are not much in numbers yet?

Frankly speaking, I have not seen much of such a role offered in IISc for Mtech and also have not heard much from IITs as well. There are profs in IISc and IITs working in cryptography and blockchains though. It May be one of the prime reasons that very less students are interested in this area, most students want data science or SDE roles. But will sure make a video if I get any such information related to BlockChain Developer

So, if I don’t succeed on the screening round, I can re-apply within a month? Or just re-interview for that position in a month? Or could you clarify on that part? What is the cool off period

Reapply or just interview is same thing. The HR will be in touch with you. After one month they will ask you and reschedule another meeting for the screening round.

Hi Kishalay i am having 4 yrs of work exp as a data scientist this yr i got 212 gate rank. When companies come to iisc will they give some preferences in terms of salary for experience guy or it will be same for all ?

I could not reach till package discussion round..but there are few of my friends who got the offer few months back. They were getting around 30lpa base.

When you aimed for PhD during M Tech, why you applied for on/off campus placements? Was it to get a reality check to know where you stand in Job market? It was quite an informative video 👍

@@swetaraj9979 This will be really great. Its like doing Btech in CSE from IISc. I would highly recommend you this, if you get a chance there.
