Watch this unique ceremony among the Pokot of Kenya 

Sapana ceremony is an optional ceremony for blessing performed on men, strengthen the foundation of their marriages and their status in society. I got to attend one such ceremony in Kotulpough, Masol Ward, Sigor Constituency, West Pokot County. Although we didn't witness everything that is done throughout the ceremony, we got to watch the spearing of the bull. It is a beautiful component in the culture of the Pokot people of Kenya.
