FOMO: Fear Of Missing Out is a serious thing, and if we are not careful, we can find ourselves getting into debt to buy a product that, in reality, we do not need to impress people because of the hype, only to realise it was just the hype. Thank you for that video!
Thank you for your thoughts and honesty. So many earbuds so many models it's kinda frustrating. That's why I watch people like you. Much appreciated God bless. 💯🙏🇺🇸
Brutha when folks lead off with "i wasn't sure if I should make this video", they usually announce they are taking a break or retiring. Glad that isn't the case here. I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment. Folks have to use some common sense.
Thank you. I totally agree with you. The problem today is that most youtubers, instead of presenting products with their qualities and defects, and being advisors for consumers, have instead become ambassadors, canvassers for certain brands. Originally, RU-vid Tech was about educating consumers and presenting them with the best product at the best price, today it has become purely and simply business. Above all, many youtubers, surf on the wave 🌊 of rivalries between users of certain brands It's sad but it's also up to consumers to know how to put things in perspective and know how to have a certain detachment, in the end, it's just tech, material, nothing else. 🙏🏽
Definitely. The organic days of youtube are long gone. The term "review" is nearly extinct. As viewers & consumers it's important to understand how to navigate the space. It's cool to watch videos to "stay in the loop"..but ultimately the only review you can rely on is your own.
I feel you, especially on people thinking they are better than other people because they like a different product than yours. I've seen and have been disrespected by people who disagree with me and that's a shame. Just because you disagree with somebody doesn't mean it's ok to call them names or insult them. Some people seriously need to grow up.
I've given away around 10 wireless buds to coworkers and friends, the budget market has gotten to a point of ridiculous value so it's easy to justify. I listen to 30 dollar buds just as often as my 2 and 3 hundred dollar models to switch up the sound signature. Great video worthwhile making Ceon
Heard that. After yanking my laptop off a desk, that was my last straw with wired day to day mishaps. Got heavily into TWS around 2020 and till early this year had collected about 20 earbuds, headphones and wireless transceivers for my wired stuff. None of it was a strain, but the fever's broke lol. I have enough on rotation, but still keep up with favorite reviewers to see the trends.
I had to take a deep breath when I saw the title! 🤣 I thought some sad news could be coming. I love this channel for the reasons you mentioned. I am just an electronic geek among many other things. I am fascinated by the content which CEON brings and the way he is able to describe the content being shared. I am unable to buy 99% of what I watch but it just fascinates me the technology we have these days. I am a person with an iPhone, windows surface laptop and Samsung tab. Yes, I enjoy all technology and have fun keeping it all synchronized. Thanks for keeping this channel real and giving me the fascination that I need! Solid person!
Thank you for the message sir. I heard you loud and clear. I also appreciate all of your vids even when I know that I won't be buying anything new for a while. Your informative and thorough reviews are still great to watch regardless of my intent to purchase a product.
This is why I’m such a big fan and you have the trust of your viewers! When I was 14, I had subscriptions to Car & Driver & Motortrend. I couldn’t drive and I DAMN sure couldn’t afford a car 😅 but I liked to be informed. I liked to educate myself on what’s what. And when a family friend said, “We’re looking at maybe getting a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I was like, hold on, let me grab May 2001 Car & Driver and show you why you should consider the Highlander. That’s what you are giving the world. You’re a tech journalist. Giving us an archive of tech information. Just yesterday my sister said, “Ok, what headphones should I get cause my ears are small and these from Amazon always fall out my ears!” I said, I don’t have that problem but I know someone who does! And I immediately sent her your channel and your content. I appreciate what you do. And I never feel pressured with FOMO. Just informed and entertained by stellar quality content. Cheers to you.
That’s exactly how I look at your channel…. And if I want to try or hear a headphone or earbud I’ll buy it and return it just to see if it will replace my current top option
I am so impressed you made this video. I found your content when researching the Bose SoundLink Max (which I bought today, queue the hate, just like you said lol) and I really enjoy the approach you take. You’re not “shouty” and genuinely try to inform your viewers on the crux points to keep them informed. My two subjective feedback points based on watching say 10 or so of your speaker tests is 1) I personally really enjoy the soundtests where they are keeping the track going and flipping through the devices being compared (I’m sure this is harder than restarting the track and switching the device) and 2) I would like you to be more opinionated at the end of the soundtest. Many of your videos end with you just leaving it up to the listener to decide, which I’m sure is by design, but hey - you’re sitting there with the stuff. I have no problem - and I want you to say - look if it were my use case and my money I would do (x). Today I was watching some gymcaddy stuff and then I got to a video where Alan Ross was calling out some dude in the comments about not pointing out it was sponsored (that man crazy but he honest af) and I just took it off. Social media is tiring sometimes. I remembered later hey - CEO had a video up that he said to check out and he seems authentic - lemme see. Man I appreciate you wrapping up my day with content like this. As long as people like you are around, we have a chance to use these platforms for the better.
Of course my friend. I forgot to add that I love your content and only shared that to maybe be helpful. Subscribed and look forward to seeing more of you.
You do a great service to the ordinary consumer. Love hearing your opinion on headphones, and I wish I waited on your Sony XM5 before I took the cheese from the other "God like ANC" Utube vids. Anyway, any thoughts on the SONOS headphones??
For people like me….. I have a rule. If I have the money for the product, and I’m on the fence about it. I buy that amount of stock in the company instead. If the return is decent after 3 months I support my investment by purchasing the product.
@@philframe This older gentleman I worked with when I was 18. Told me to invest in what you regularly buy, and the company will never go broke. Yes it has worked for me. I would recommend researching as much as possible, and learning how to understand financial data/reports & where to direct your questions for that company’s reports before committing to regular investing.
Im sticking to my sennheiser momentum 4 headphones and realme buds air pro 5 they are awesome. Even though sometimes i admire the sony xm5 headphones and the bose qc ultra headphones and are interested in them, i am grateful with what i have. P.S, love your physique, those arms are huge. Keep working out 💪
It probably doesn't do you any favors to say things like this so it makes me appreciate your honesty even more. Newer is generally expected to be described as better where RU-vid is concerned. Even though these are common sense topics I don't think it hurts for any of us to have a friendly reminder once in a while. Thank you for another great one! 👍
Thanks for this to video. Best video this year. I do buy a lot of earphones and headphones. Most I take back due to the poor sound. But I do need to be more content with what I already have. Thanks for the encouragement
Bro your content is so awesome keep it up I have purchase 2 bluetooth speaker and three headphones from your recommendation. It's been awesome experience they are still going perfect. By the way bro I was a also interested in starting a technology RU-vid channel... But I was curious that how much money we can make through affiliate marketing. Like can you give idea that how much you make through affiliate marketing through this channel
Brother, don't download it, keep doing your content that we like so much, thanks to you I have bought all the speakers I have, I always inform myself through your channel, I like your videos a lot, Greetings from Cuba 🇨🇺. By the way, get more audio comparisons 🤣🤣👍🏻
I appreciate this video more than you know! I was having a conversation about this last week. I'm a big tech person that will watch videos about every new phone, smart watch & ear buds. I don't plan on buying half of what I see. However I see the comments and know people that will almost go broke to have the latest. Subscribing now!
Sometimes you get something and it’s crap/ I like the soundcore buds over Apple AirPods / the AirPods just don’t fit my ears since I have so many piercings
