Take a look to how people live in North Korea and Russia. North Korea is like living in a prison. The man that threatens a bloodbath if he doesn’t win, that’s dictatorship wannabe to me! Was a teacher for 20 years in a state where there was a very weak, almost invisible, union. My fellow teachers and I suffered a lot of abuse because we were each all alone in any dispute with an admin or a parent. I often think how much better my professional life and my effectiveness as a teacher could have been, if I'd had a union on my side.
