I always felt like "old" souls are the ones who are often prone to making mistakes because they're less inclined to live a straightforward life and have reached a point where they're open to experimentation whereas the "young" souls tend to play by the rules a little more because that's the safest option.

Even as a dental hygienist, I shared in your struggle with the tooth erosion. I made the mistake of eating fruit only for 7 days and I had to go back to animal products(over easy eggs, goat cheese, & raw milk) for 3 days to reverse some of the damage (our teeth can remineralize to an extent). I was surprised at how quickly it started to mess up my teeth. BUT, I also felt amazing. So I haven’t given up on raw veganism because it just feels so much healthier. So here’s what I’ve learned so far. Our teeth need calcium and phosphate to remineralize. Other nutrients important for tooth health are vitamin D, A, K, E and C. I am tracking my nutrients in Cronometer. Fruit only is not good for the teeth. Now I am eating lots of dark leafy greens, taking a greens powder, having a fat with my greens (nuts, seeds, or avocado) for better fat soluble vitamin absorption. AND, I discovered that 1/2 cup of chia seeds (grind them right before eating) has just as much calcium and more phosphorus than a cup of milk. So I am experimenting with having 1/2 cup of chia seeds everyday with my greens int he afternoon to keep my teeth strong and prevent demineralization. IF your teeth start feeling rough (like a rough texture) or not feeling slick, and they’re getting more yellow, they are in a state of demineralization. And that means you need more calcium and phosphorus and possibly one or more of these: vitamin D, A, K, E and C. And you may need a break from the acidic fruit for a few days.

Animals like snacks. You can put out some black oil sunflower seeds for chipmunks and chickadees and sit nearby while they get their treats. Then over the course of a few weeks get a little closer and then a lil closer to your new friends. Eventually you can have the seeds in your hands and they will trust you. I’ve done this with the aforementioned animals and also red squirrels. Sometimes the chipmunks might chomp your fingers or toes but it doesn’t break the skin. A red squirrel might and definitely grey would so maybe try petting them first with gloves and maybe stick to petting the larger guys. ❤

surprised to see you mention canteloupe, i just started eating 1 whole one daily the past 5 days and have felt way better. it is maybe the healthiest fruit i think i realized recently. in one there is 350% vit c, 50% potassium, only 250 calories, and it has a huge amount of inositol which flushes the gut and boosts mood.
