Been shooting footage for the Seiko Cocktail time and realized I have 2 other watches that are quite similar in styling.
The three watches I look at are;
Seiko Cocktail Time SARB065
Seiko Snowflake SBGA211
Seiko Tank Solar SUP880
I discuss my history with these three watches from my collection and how my tastes have changed over time and I try to provide some insight into my decision to choose the SUP over the others.
TLDR: I like the SUP880 the most and wear it the most CURRENTLY.

I like that your GS was a daily beater. That’s how to wear a watch! Like you, about 20 years of collecting and some of my opinions have also changed.

Yep funny how tastes change over time or at the very least your tastes reveal something about your own personality. I for one have always liked dress watches but always thought it was a bit too stuffy looking. But over the years I realized they are my favourite type of watch even moreso than a diver. I would like to thin out the dive collection for more dress watches. All the best and my regards from Japan for today. -Martin
