I've got shade 2 on the right side of my face right now, applied over my usual day skincare, and it's emphasizing texture particularly on the cheeks. Following a light brush application I had to go in with fingers to smooth it out. Colour match and coverage are fine, it definitely feels lightweight, am just not sure it's hydrating enough for me. Will try it with sponge and/or a different brush in the future. So far, the Danessa Myricks has looked the best on me but it does feel a little heavy. FYI, I genuinely appreciate your candor. You tell it like it is without ever disparaging anyone or anything and it's both refreshing and enjoyable.

I don’t understand the amount criticism because it’s on par with other foundation sticks. With Fenty you get 9g for $35. The Hourglass one is $49 for 7g, Merit is $38 for 6.5g, Milk is $36 for 10g, HUDA is $39 for 12.5g, MUFE is $43 for 12.5g, & Westman Atelier is a whopping $68 for 9g

The liquid eaze looks dry on me too at first but all makeup needs to settle in for it to look good- when I’m impatient I douse myself in setting spray lol. Apparently there is more product available in the stick- you gotta keep twisting it up. Also the stick is supposed to be more hydrating and dry skin friendly. I think we need a eaze face off- liquid vs stick ✨

I picked this stick up on my last Sephora order. So far I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I picked up shade 4 and got pretty damn close to my skin tone which never happens on the first try.

When foundation sticks were more popular I feel like .3oz was pretty standard.

Also I think the brush side looks good! Nice wear!

The way it looks dry and emphasizing texture when u are outside, that's exactly the way the original Eaze Drop did my skin..... except it was right away, I didn't have to go into the natural light for it to look bad on me.....I was so sad because I feel like everyone else loved it......I had no idea they were gonna be matte either though.... darn..,I wish I didn't have such dry skin because matte products just do me so wrong, and when u said it feels powdery I automatically knew this new one wasn't for me either....shoot!!! I’ve seen it oxidize maybe half a shade in the applications I’ve seen, yet it’s not an oompah loompah orange that we often see.

I think once its used up you just keep twisting and the rest of the product rolls up. Someone, i cant remember who now, did this in their vid and did a comparison and its 9g and i think more than either hourglass or huda so i think its on par with other stick foundations.

Would you recommend on mature skin .

It's a product for already perfect skin (like most of the brand's products) so we have to put just a little, that's why there are so few more I think if it had been bigger there would have been too much risk of breaking the stick

Hey Mallory, new subscriber here! Thanks for the review. It's hard for me to commit to stick foundations because they all are so small. The Hourglass one is only .25 ounces. With foundation sticks, you don't use a lot, but still, I feel I get more bang in for my buck in a liquid foundation. It being a skin tint is also like ummm no ma'am, I will stick to the OG lol :)

Yeah Fenti is notorious for small quantities for pricey products. They do the same with ALL of their sticks.

This foundation has me super confused by what I see.. It seems to work great under sweat due to the finish, in videos of dry, combination, oily skin.. but each one works radically differently on each skin with the same type of skin.. or matte, or they say fine, or super shiny almost extreme fat. Amount? There are others in stick with more product, totally. In altered skin, I think it is better not to use demi mattes because in the end they eat up the hydration and that will alter the skin more. My ninja trick is to use enriched embryolisse type creams. In winter, when the humidity of the climate in the coastal area becomes cold that pierces the bone and slaps the skin, the skin struggles not to dehydrate. I resort to those for lipikar, nutratopic.. style atopic skin creams. It happens to me with the fluid one, it depends on the day, I use it in summer, the rest of the year.. sometimes my skin asks me to use it with a moisturizing primer, gripping primer, a moisturizer under that style.. in humid weather they usually come in handy to balance demi matte finishes, but not all of them work well on thin or dry skin. Depending on the day your skin has and the environment, its behavior varies a lot, that's why extreme tests are so useful. The end of the video.. In 10 years a life can change a lot. They are serious things Mallory, nobody is prepared for the blows of life, we do what we can. Then you grow and get stronger with problems, and not only by age, internally in depth, it makes you strong. I think that most of us think the same about the negative side at least and in the channels of honest pro makeup artists: The constructive to build and the destructive to omit. I'm concerned about how certain behaviors are not being managed well.. while feeding.. be it RU-vid or on other platforms, somebody have to say things or silence is an ally of those behaviors. A knock on the table is sometimes necessary. Paradoxically, in more countries it is beginning to define what are bad practices as a creator now, the UK is one of the best in terms of control, not only because it is strict, because they have been able to see it before. The problem is that it does't happen the same on all sites, there is no consensus, each platform is a world.. The responsibility falls on the creator and as a consumer of content, as of any product. The maturity and knowledge of things each time makes you more selective, separating into who or what yes or never. There are certain audience cuts that cannot do or not know how to manage it, as with anything, certain creators either. The toxic side is better to keep away.🌊💚

Thanks for calling out the amount of product in the package. I think the move to more stick formats is to sell a pathetic amount of product in fancy packaging so no one will notice. This needs to be addressed because of the huge amount of waste it creates for something that will need to be repurchased, and SOON! I hope it becomes the norm for reviews to mention the amount we’re getting-including pencil products too!
