Agreed, except back in the 80s, I was in my 30s so I remember the era well, I don't recall any guys having their hair " bleach tipped" for lack of better words as people do today. His haircut was also unique compared to the regular 80s look as I remember.
@@daffidavit Okay, well I was born 81 and I always think of Iceman when I think of the 80s. It's a biased personal thing I suppose. A cool mofo either way!
I feel so sad for Val for what happened to him. No one deserves it. I hope he is making peace with himself and his life. He’s left a pretty amazing legacy of film so good work accomplished. Not all of us can say that!
@@ashe984 Sweet man? Great Guy? There was the story that Kilmer burned a member of the crew with a cigarette on the set of ``Island. '' (He denies this). There was the story that, while filming an action movie, he took a baseball bat and trashed an automobile as a shocked crew watched.
Val was rocking the frosted spike to perfection!! Live the best life while you can folks, you never know what's going to happen next. I hope Val is comfortable and getting the best care possible.
They didn't really do a good job replacing his character. Someone both extremely hot but straight-cut and plays by the rules. Maybe hangman was supposed to be a little like that but he is not the same in the looks department.
2:30 Val: It's not the military it's the polyester journalist: It seems you guys have a lot of fun Val, dead serious: we don't, there is no fun here' 😂🤣 lmao he has a great sense of humor, hilarious!
hes so adorable ..like a little chipmunk on coffee ..unhinged and completely honest and cool..witty and soft spoken.. i want all of your Val archive @entertainmenttonight ! more Val please !!!
I truly appreciate & applaud Val's resilience in the face of some pretty difficult times. It's also great to see him continue to master his craft in spite of it all. Val's list of incredible accomplishments during his career are plenty to keep generations to come with real entertainment to watch. God speed Val 🙏⚘
I saw original Top Gun, Loved it and never watched again, because I don't re-watch movies, especially decades later. Well over 35 yrs plus Val got throat cancer which affected his voice. So Top Gun 2.0 could be a stinker? No. They used that extra year or two to make it better. I LOVED IT. MOST OF ALL I LOVE Val was in movie. His roll was perfect. GREAT. *It would not be Top Gun without Val, ICEMAN, Val i'd be your Wing Man any time.*
He's such a talented performer. It's hard to choose his best, there ALL equally as good BUT for me personally, I like him as Jim Morrison "The Doors". He IS Jim Morrison in that movie.😎🙂
Honestly as audience, I don't know what it is about planes either. I just always loved civil & modern military aviation. Have a huge thing for warbirds, warships/battle cruisers/etc, aircraft carriers too. My mom's the same way and did want to become an air force pilot, but they weren't accepting women at the time.
@@tagabulodchastityobedience7292 The dehumanization of "fat" and "ugly" women was completely unnecessary to make the point you were making. Unattractive people can and still do find conventionally attractive people attractive. What you said was ignorant and uncalled for. Grow up.
Iceman was the best pilot. Ice cold, never made mistakes. Maverick on the other hand had the natural talent....or whatever, it is only fiction, however...
