Thankfully the family was able to get most of their belongings out of the house before it collapsed.

I cannot even imagine losing everything in that way. Those poor people!

just watched the family interview from yesterday where they stated it was only a matter of time before the house collapsed, so scary.

I live about 30 miles from here and the pie they make in the Dam Store is fantastic. Great little place. I hope it stays in tact.

this is sad to watch!! i lived in minnesota for 12 years and to see that house go into water and the trees. i will prey for those who live around there, i hope things will calm down!!!

I'm sure the family was out of the home had been evacuated to safety. And I see some comments saying they was able to retrieve belongings from the house, but could you imagine your entire life just falling into the river in 2 seconds?

This hurt to watch. Imagine all your belongings and home falling into a body of water and being swept away, never to be seen again. My prayers go to the family of that home.

I saw an interview of the lady the other day who that house belongs to. She grew up in that house and I guess from what was said is a store is right next to the house? That business is a family owned business and it's been around a very long time! Sad to see her family house be destroyed like that! 😞
