Back to back weeks??? Wow what a fantastic way to kick off the weekend. This series is like talking watches on steroids for Netflix. Andy has such a wealth of knowledge and it’s so cool to see a collection dedicated to such a small niche of watches.
FANTASTIC collection of aviation of watches. My only complaint it was too short, I wanted to hear more from the extremely knowledgeable collector and the stories behind the watches.

I'm liking these new series! I also have fond memories when I visited Thailand for work a few years ago. Great place! It's odd that here for Aviation watches the Glycine Airman is not mentioned as the first GMT watch. I believe it was created in 1953 before the Rolex GMT.
God I love Andy to death! I could listen to him talk about pilot watches for hours but even more than that, I’d love to hear him delve into the flight history and stories associated with some of those time pieces. What an absolute joy of a man to have a conversation with. I hope he’s doing well!!!
Very interesting topic! IMHO the Omega 2292 HS8 is one of the most beautiful pilots watches! I also think that the Omega Flightmaster is a true hidden gem (but prefer personally the (also space approved) Speedmaster 125th because of the unique cal. 1041)! Thanks for sharing the video!

Very cool. I chose a Longines Master Collection Moon Phase last year for my first luxury watch purchase. And I can see that I now need to go back and watch Ep.1, because I also own a Seiko Prospex diver. 🙂
Superb collection and every aviation themed collection should contain a few 1960s pieces e.g. Accutron Astronaut, Bulova 3818, Glycine Airman automatic and GMT-master 1675 ... March 1966 NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong wore James Mattern's Longines Wittnauer-Weems big crown pilot watch as the aviator was Armstrong's childhood hero ! 🧐
Kinda disappointing talking about the complications but not showing how it works... Aviation watches are like the most technical watches around and I was looking forward to some explanation of how it works. Instead all was shown is, "this is the model" Like come on, how does the Longines Lindbergh Hour Angle work????? What is the chapter ring use for? What information can I tell from it?
Great video. Longines has so much history to leverage off. Definitely a reviving brand at the moment but so much more potential. The sky is the limit! ;)
