Good video, the Aesop (never heard of this before) is wonderful . . . a shame it is so large. As a Tissot fan the Le Locle would be my choice, especially the blue dial version. Now is the time to be hunting for watch bargains, there are currently more around than usual due to the difficult economic circumstances in many countries. Got a great deal on a previous model 39mm Tissot PR100 quartz two-tone last month, delighted with it. Well worth looking out for older and recently discontinued models like these as ADs seem to be falling over themselves to clear stock, even on quite upmarket brands like Longines and Raymond Weil.
Yes the Swatch Group messed up there, but as long as they back them up it's their responsibility. Also I'm pretty sure you can retro for a good ol 2824 or even SW200 into this one
A very nice range of watches. Curious, though, as to why Glycine or Revue Thommen did not appear. Each have watches that represent terrific value and posses legacy claims as well.
Thanks for the list! What do you think about the Tissot tradition small second which has a proper ETA movement (2825-2) with no plastic parts plus a regulator though with a lower 40 hours power reserve?
Tissot has an amazing collection of watches below $500, the Automatics and so many others, but the Le Locle takes the cake for me based on it's aesthetics. I struggle to find the Tradition for less than $600 though
What a great selection of watches with an exceptional price to performance ratio! I love the Baltany watches, and especially love the Baltany Type 20 I picked up some months back, and will at some point be picking up their bicompax version Military chrono (unless I get the Miltado version instead). The Aesop tourbillion is another lovely watch I'll be getting eventually, or something along the lines of it, as there is a respectable variety of peer options in that category. And of course, Tissot's Le Locle is a lovely dress watch. I personally own a vintage PR50 quartz and PR100 automatic diver from them that I bought new in the late 90's and both are beautiful and dependable watches that don't miss a beat. Hard to go wrong with Tissot.
@@Horologique It's honestly amazing, particularly for the price. I got the brown dial version, and replaced the strap with one more fitting the look of the Breguet Only Watch 2019 model it is patterned after. Their decision to make use of the Miyota 6S21 instead of one of the Seiko VK modules is an excellent decision on their part, and the rotating coin edge timing bezel is a super plus for it as well!
Thank you for the informative list. Some great suggestions for sure. I might add the Timex Giorgio Galli, a stunning watch for under $500. Timex never seems to get love on these lists.
J'ai acheté la EFR-108D pendant le black friday, en version blanche comme dans ta vidéo. Le bracelet est bof bof mais comme on ne peut pas le changer je le garde. Mon seul gros reproche c'est le guchet de date qui est vraiment du foutage de gueule, on ne voit rien, ils auraient mieux fait de ne pas en mettre du tout dans ce cas là :(
@@Horologique I’ve had the Aesop for over 12 months. It’s only an occasional wear but keeps very good time! I have several other watches with the same movement & they’re all extremely accurate. One thing I did do was swap out the supplied leather strap, which was ordinary, for a dark blue ostrich leather one. Looks great!😎👍🏻

Glycine Combat Sub 42 automatic...?, or in fact any Glycine, swiss assembled with a swiss SW-200 and swiss heritage for less than €400 landed from an online authorise US dealer, great value for money.
@@Horologique I use Ashford, say for example the GL0077, a Combat Sub 42 with an automatic on a bracelet, currently it's $310, their international shipping is $30, so $340 which is €315, so with 20% VAT it's €378 and quite often Ashford run discount codes.
