A lil late to the party🎉🤪 Having a fiancé who's Bro is a Team Guy, he himself wears the G 6900 & 9052 down range and he said that he's NEVER EVER seen a Team Guy wearin a Luminox down range. As the PR/Marketing deal was struck with the Naval administrative desk jockeys🏇 in DC, which they may wear em, the Guys goin down range do not. Also, they do not wear analog watches as one, they need instantaneous view and recognition, down to THE second, and secondly, they ain't gonna follow some damn second hand around the dial, 😂😂, when either the timer or stop watch function is needed. Also, her Bro said that the constant lume of the Luminox is a definite NO GO cuz in their night missions, that perpetual lume from the Luminox dial can be spotted through a sniper scope at 200+ meters!! He was just speaking to the scope being able to pick out the version that has the like indices at 12, 3, 6 & 9:00, along with the hands. The version with the 360* lume is even worse(more visible at night through a scope). He keeps his G's on the 1 second light display time(versus selecting the 3 second display) and some guys even put black electrical tape over the dial so they don't accidentally hit the lume/light pusher. While he does have a Rolly 5513 birth year Sub that we gifted him on his birthday, he only wears that out casually when in civvies. In uniform he only wears a G, though when he's stateside he does wear a red/black JDM King G(GXW-56-1AER) that I gifted him. It's his Naval "dress" watch😂😂 No one wears a Sub, or as I said, any expensive analog watch down range as they beat the living shit out of them, lol. Look, I'm one of the worst poseurs around and have 5-6 Lumis that I wear workin my bar(if you can't get 60-65%+ off, and you can if ya look, as I did on all of mine, hard PASS), however if ya want a watch that the Team Guys wear, grab yourself either a G 6900 or 9052, or if you're a Jocko fan boy, the Timex Ironman(T66801).
