Be Cool Scooby Doo is a weird adaptation of Scooby Doo which is insane and crazy and funny and has some hilarious moments. Daphne, Velma, Fred, and Shaggy all have new personalities in a Family Guy/Brickleberry art style with Cartoon Networks new and improved craziness. Scooby Snacks are amazing like on the zombie island or whats new scooby doo or mystery incorporated, JINKIES!

I think what turned a lot of people off from Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! was the art style. I remember originally not watching it because I just wasn't a fan of how it looked (especially after how much I loved the art style from Mystery Incorporated). But after being told that it was actually good, I gave it a try and found myself enjoying it! Just goes to show not to judge a book by its cover. Granted, I still don't like the art style that much. But the show itself isn't bad in itself 😊

This show was given an impossible task of following up Mystery Inc. Even though that show ended naturally, and wasn’t cancelled, that’s still some MASSIVE shoes to fill. If I could alter the timeline, and have this be the current show, and Velma was the one to come out after Mystery Inc., then I’m certain this show would have done 10 times as well, simply for not being Velma.

And to think back in the day people used to say that BCSD was the Teen Titans Go of the Scooby Doo franchise, but with the Velma series around they're say that it makes BCSD look like a masterpiece by comparison.

This show is like a bizarro Superman version of Velma. Velma has bad jokes, awful characters, and occasionally good animation. Meanwhile, Be Cool Scooby-Doo has pretty good jokes, interesting takes on the characters that still make sense, and animation that looks like an "adult comedy" family guy clone.

Little did I realize that we’d get an abomination years later that made me appreciate this. I know it’s been a long time since this comment, but this is a different voice actor from Mystery Incorporated. Velma was voiced by Mindy Cohn in that series, she’s voiced by Kate Micucci in Be Cool Scooby Doo, and continues to voice Velma in most Scooby things moving forward, with exceptions like Scoob and Velma (the series not the character).

Still not a fan of the artstyle, but it's characterization isn't bad. It's like the inverse of Mindy Kaling's Velma, that had pretty good animation and horrible characterization. If we gave Velma's visuals to Be Cool, it might have been a hit.
