Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated is a much more adult take on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon network franchise. Shaggy and Velma date, Fred grapples with his sexuality, Daphne gets friendzoned, scooby eats his scooby snacks, and there is an ongoing plot that we follow. It is very funny and comedic and serious and the animation looks amazing. Scooby Doo Mystery Inc.

This iteration is rather comforting since it's probably the last Scooby-Doo show that didn't have any major changes or gimmicks. It really feels like the original show just set in then modern times.

I always loved Daphne in this show, they would be at a locked door and Daphne would be like "don't worry I'll just take like three tiny things from my purse" and then she'll suddenly have broken into a bank vault, she had like a hidden criminal past vibe and it was hilarious to me.

Shes kind of my favorite Daphne, honestly, she's like the perfect combination of stylish, badass and damsel. Like, yes, she's still danger prone, but she can actually save the day or solve the mystery sometimes too. Super underrated in my opinion, i just love her

What's New Scooby-Doo's theme song is such a banger. I always got hyped when it came on. Basically a modernized version of the show back then. Still as episodic as ever with some really great episodes. One of my favorite incarnations.

Fun fact: shaggy was canonized as vegetarian in this series. It's the reason notable vegetarian Casey Kasem reprised his role after a 5 year hiatus over a Burger King ad.

They could have hired some other guy if they felt some type of way about it. You're making it sound as if Shaggy's voice actor was some kind of eco-terrorist holding the producers at gunpoint.

Ah "WNSD" the first modern adaptian of the Scooby Doo franchise! i loved the animation style and the songs for this series especially the theme song it was a total bop when i was a kid i especially loved the songs by the Hex Girls, Those three never failed to sing a hit song!!!

My uncle actually worked on this series! If you continue to the episode Roller Ghoster Ride, the two new girls are named after my father and my uncle!! Slight spoilers btw if you care about it Originally Chris, the one named after my uncle, was going to be the villain but my uncle said no and so Terry, the one named after my father, became the villain! It ends with them rushing to tell mom fittingly as brothers, or should I say sisters lol :]

yup, not tricks no gimmicks, just the old tried and true formula remade for new era. No politics no major changes to the writing, no big plot, just good old shenanigans. I'd dare say that seeing this after all the other newer interpretations is like a breath of fresh air, going back to what made it great in the first place, just the gang solving mysteries.
