Adam really doesn’t get enough credits for his dramatic moments in cinema. Sometimes those “comedic” actors are titans when it comes to dramas.

@@nathancruz9172those movies were shit 💩 just like his comedies. Punch Drunk Love was a terrible movie! All he plays is a short tempered loser in that movie just like he does in all of his other movies. When are we all gonna wake up and see that Adam Sandler sucks and that he’s the worst actor ever??

Finally a decent channel reacting to this one! Reactions to this movie is basically non existent. I don't get why people are sleeping on it. It's one of Sandler's best movies IMO. Fun fact: The kid is played by two twin brothers

I'm glad you saw the movie.. For me the movie was great plus Adam Sandler's acting.. and the final, even though Sonny did not keep custody of Julian, he was able to continue with him as his friend no matter what, and even though he loved him as his son.

Big Daddy is the very first Adam Sandler movie I've seen when I was a child. One of funniest movies too and I'm hoping you do a movie reaction on Pixar's Elemental with @ItsTotallyCody or not 😁

Always good to see you again, Nick, and I'm glad you seemed to like this movie based on the thumbnail. I'm not a huge fan of Sandler myself, but he is funny and can deliver dramatic moments pretty well; hopefully, that's the case here!

Big Daddy was the first Adam Sandler movie I ever watched in full when I was a young teen. His other hit comedies before it like Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore came out when I was still in elementary school, so I wasn’t fully invested in watching them in their entirety. But there was something about Big Daddy that made me watch it from beginning to end. Not only is it the debut film of future Zack & Cody stars Cole and Dylan Sprouse playing the same character Julian, but it was what further cemented Adam Sandler as an accomplished movie star after leaving SNL in 1995.

Do you take tv show suggestions? Because I was wondering if you might take a suggestion/request to react to The Madagascar spin off All Hail King Julien. It's criminally underrated and I hate myself for sleeping on it for so long, and there aren't any reactions to it that I can find. It's crazy, out there, but it is also very politically deep social commentary satire stuff too in some episodes.

I forgot just how much of a detestable jerkass Sonny is in the beginning of the film, oof. Steve Buscemi is hilarious though, as always. Mr. Deeds is another very funny Sandler film, and he plays a much more likeable character in it.

Interesting to note: During the McDonald’s scene where Sonny blows his top when they stopped serving breakfast for the day, Cole (Julian) actually cried in one take, so the crew had to replace him with his twin brother Dylan to help finish the scene.
