I agree with others, kookielit is not a good source of anything that may go near BTS. MHJ has a history of being shady and extremely questionable in her choices and she has been turned into the police and is facing lawsuits already. Hybe has also recently found evidence linking Min heejin to a reporter that’s been behind writing these defamatory articles. She’s facing multiple criminal charges and possibly jail time.

To answer some of your questions at the end, Min Hee-jin is a traitor. Hybe is not perfect, but Min Hee-jin is delusional. She already has her due and is just greedy to get more. She is the highest paid official at Hybe. She makes a higher salary than the current CEO of Hybe (side note: Bang PD is the Chairman of the Board, but he resigned his position as CEO so he could spend more time producing music.) Bang PD also let Min Hee-jin borrow money from him so she could purchase more shares of Ador, and she still owes him money for that loan, so she is trying to steal multiple things from Hybe--money, a label, and the girl group New Jeans. He bent over backwards to give her what she wanted, but she started making requests that he couldn't in good conscience fulfill. To give you an idea of how far she's gone, Ador's offices are located on the top floor of he Hybe building, above Big Hit and BTS. She deliberately chose to release New Jeans' music when RM had scheduled to release his new album to directly compete. She wants to defeat Hybe and BTS. But what is almost worse is she has brainwashed the New Jeans' girls and their parents into believing they need her to succeed, even after her text messages were released to the public where she called the members lazy and fat. She takes credit for all of their achievements and doesn't give credit to the girls, and I think some of the members are still minors.

I think when you say "she's trying to get her due" it's because of that first video being your introduction. it's HIGHLY biased and inaccurate. Here's the shortest version I can think of: she cherry-picked the best trainees out of Source music (with them having trained them) so they took the financial hit to prepare them, took them, created Ador, did heavy media play to call NwJns BTSs little sisters, (two of them even appeared in one of their big English MVs), used heavy media play using BTSs name, and when you look at the chats and timings, the planning to do this started before Illit debuted, so they were most likely just a useful excuse (as you could see, she accused other groups of "copying" also). She planned to damage hybe to the point where either she could force them to buy her out to make it stop (with her getting tons of money) or making them vulnerable to takeover. Either way, she absolutely had been planning this for a while and was planning to use private info of artists to hurt them and HYBE... she is NOT a victim in any way, shape or form. ...oh and BSH loaned her a million dollars for her stake in the company to begin with.

Kookielit’s video was dodgy as shit by the way, they’re very much an anti of both BTS and Hybe, and was presenting blatantly false information throughout the video and also reframing things to make Hybe and Bang PD look as bad as possible. For the record, I still don’t think Illit copied New Jeans, but I think MHJ knew there would be enough superficial similarities even before their debut to make kpoppies believe her bullshit so she could cry out about mistreatment. Most kpop girl groups exist on a sliding scale from girl crush to cute in terms of concept, and with underage members in the group- does MHJ think debuting minors is her own original idea?- cute was the safe option. There are also other restrictions caused by them having girls who are still in high school in the group, including that they can’t dye their hair, so a more natural look makes sense styling wise (again not a copyrightable concept.) But the thing is, even if both groups use cute concepts, they both have very different interpretations of it. Illit has gone for a soft, girly vibe, while New Jeans from the beginning has had this tomboyish, athletic, confident vibes. They have the same concept in the way that Mamamoo and Blackpink have the same concept- technically both girl crush if you squint. The other similarity they have is literally caused by neither of the groups having any powerhouse vocalists or experienced rappers, so maybe if you don’t know shit about music or genre, you might thing they have a similar sound when in reality they just have a similar tone. They’re not even in the same genre, New Jean’s foundation is R&B and they’ve been going into different club styles with their newer releases, while Illit only has a couple of songs so far, they’re way more into house and synthpop then anything New Jeans has ever released. The comparisons between them is skin deep, but that’s enough to convince Kpoppies because so many of them have zero reading comprehension skills. I do wonder if Jonathan will do a “reacting to Illit because fuck Min Hee Hin” video, but honestly, I’m pretty sure they’re not his vibe and that’s perfectly okay. She provides sources on her Patreon, and most of Patreon posts are free and not under a paywall. She only puts really sensitive information under a pay wall (that is still affordable). She wouldn't be able to post the sources on RU-vid due to copyright. However, she does provide her analysis and opinions of the sources on RU-vid.

Fake and nasty. I note the whole video you watched was told from the perspective of "MHJ claims xyz" with none of Hybe's statements included. You should get deeper in to this drama Loui, it's wild. Basically for the “BTS’s female fans would be jealous” comment, it’s basically known that some crazy obsessive fans are knowing to target female idols who dare to exist within the vicinity of their male idols, or get furious at the group if any of the members end up dating. Around the time this comment was made by Bang, an Exo member had revealed he was married and expecting a child- and his fans were burning his merchandise and calling it a betrayal to them. I don’t know if it was Bang PD’s soul reasoning though, because this lady CLEARLY wanted into Bighit, even though Hybe as it was being planned was going to be a multi-label system. His actions prevented her from getting anywhere near Bighit or our boys, made sure she had zero control over them, something I’m sure pissed her the fuck off.

The way Kookielit uses "BigHit" and "HYBE" interchangeably is also incorrect. BigHit is BTS and TXT's music label, which existed independently long prior to HYBE's creation. HYBE is the corporate company that was established by Bang PD in 2019, which controls several businesses and labels *including* BigHit, Source Music and ADOR. To suggest that BigHit and HYBE are one and the same is to a) exaggerate BigHit and BTS' power and influence in this situation, and b) place blame on BTS by extension. HYBE is controlled by a board of execs, and Bang PD is not the CEO but the Chairman and Founder. BigHit, also founded by Bang PD, operates independently of HYBE but is still under its influence to a certain degree. I don't know all the specifics but Kookielit is twisting the narrative by making "BTS' company" seem like the bad guys.

Also, as HYBE claimed, Min Hee Jin is already the highest paid executive in HYBE but she wants 20-30 times her stock option because according to her deputy, the investors will only invest in her group if she is able to raise New Jeans' worth into at least a trillion.

The only girl group that was under Big Hit was disband due to some scandal, due to that BTS was forced to debut earlier than was prepared.. The first video is very shady and is in support of MHJ and painting PD Bang in a bad light..

There's a channel with Asian Entertainment in it's name, who did amazing job in covering this case. O remember you to check it out. The most absurd thing with all this "copying" accusations against HYBE groups is that turns out, this is New Jeans who copied older groups music and choreography. Also, Min He-Jin keeps dragging New Jeans members and their parents into this mess and this will damage their careers so much, I'm not sure they could recover from this. And these girls are teenagers, so this should be the beginning of their careers. It's really sad.

The whole female fans would be jealous isn't wrong. It would be about proximity to the members. Female celebs have gotten attacked online simply for being in photos with the group or interacting with members. It's a really ugly part of kpop fandom (and some others). There's a sense of ownership that some of the fans have that is, quite frankly, horrific. You can see that on a different level with the reaction some have had to seeing pics of the guys smoking and with JK drinking on lives.

There is a petition from more than hundred of people asking to minister not just to investigate chart manipulation etc but also to withdraw the national cultural award from BTS. It is unbelieveable the level of jealousy and hate these people have harboured in their heart for years and apparently South Korean public side with them. South Korean public is hella wierd.

Boracity doesn’t get it 100 accurate at times. BTS (especially explained by Taehyung in detail) said in documentaries (Beyond the star) they almost disbanded in 2018 because of breaking into new levels at a very quick overwhelming pace which led to the intense level of work without rest to the point they weren’t sure if this pace could be sustainable, not because of the rumours and smear campaigns (which already started from 2014-2015). Although i’m sure smear campaigns might have played a role (and i’m sure it’s emotionally draining and toiling on them) but according to what BTS themselves publicly shared, so far they have never said they considered disbandment in 2018 because of smear campaigns.

Now that you’ve watched this vid, you should watch the mini moni vid where rm shared rpwp with Jimin. And then go through the rpwp lyrics again. If u thought rm was pissed the first time u reacted to it, this will give you more insight as to why he was so pissed. The way the South Korea media and the South Korean government treats BTS makes me sick. And what is wrong with the korean citizens?? She wanted to promote them as "bts' little sisters" "bts' label's first girl group" etc. She admitted this in her press conference mhj claimed she's under a slave contract which bounds her to hybe forever. but later hybe proved with evidence that she's not when hybe asked ador to give up company assets, mhj refused to give her laptop claiming its a breach of privacy (its not as its a company asset which is only supposed to be used for work), all the evidence hybe has found so far was from their raid on ador, vice president L's laptop and mhj's text messages. There's probably a lot more evidence on mhj's laptop mhj accused several groups of copying her including illit, riize, tws and bts. but right now newjeans is in the middle of plagiarism accusations as allegedly everything about them is copied from a mexican girl group "jeans" and a japanese girl group. Mhj claims its just inspiration, which is pretty hypocritical of her considering she's accusing several groups of plagiarism just bc of small similarities. mhj is a pedophile. she's been in MANY pedophile controversies before such as making minors do sexual concepts. Recently in her press conference she talked about how minji isnt as pretty anymore (she's 20) and was much prettier when she was a early teen. Mhj also made degrading comments about sakura and chaewon calling them too old (they're in early twenties) Mhj constantly uses feminism card saying people hate her bc she's a successful women, but she is a misogynist. recently text messages were revealed where mhj called women degrading slurs and talked about how much she hates women, she hates being a woman and hates working with women. She also made degrading comments towards newjeans saying they're a bunch of stupid kids who cant do anything by themselves and fatshamed them. Mhj admitted the text messages are her but she was just "joking" mhj claims the entire reason of this conflict is bc hybe didnt respond to her complaints about illit. Hybe proves with evidence that they did respond, but even if they didnt they have evidence that this whole thing was planned months before illit debuted hybe proves with evidence that mhj had a shaman who made major business decisions for her. (a shaman is like a religious ritual person in korea?, kind of like black magic) Mhj believes her dead sister is possessing the shaman, she even calls the shaman by her sister's name and has the shaman make major deicisons for her such as the company name etc. she has even kicked out many trainees just bc the shaman claimed they were posessed. Hybe reveals text messages where mhj is talking to her shaman about bts, mhj asks the shaman if she can send bts to the military, the shaman replies "ofc i'll send them, its not like they won a gold medal lol" to which mhj replies by laughing and says it'll be easier for her if bts goes away. Apparently there were rituals performed on bts to send them to military, she denied this and said she was just joking with the shaman hybe found the plan of everything on vice president L's laptop, the vp claimed it was just his personal thoughts and he was just using the laptop as a diary. hybe revealed text messages which proved mhj and vp L did meet with investors to take over ador hybe claimed that mhj was contacting bts' accountant, trying to make him lose trust in both hybe and bts and then join ador (he reported it to hybe) hybe claimed mhj abuses her employees, especially women. This was confirmed after multiple ador employees came up anonymously on forums and claimed they had been abused by mhj. mhj claims hybe is mistreating newjeans because 1. bang pd didnt greet newjeans back after they greeted him in the elevator 2. le sserafim debuted first. (before the conflict bang pd explained in an interview that there's no reason for him to have close relations with all his artists, as when it comes to managing artists all labels under hybe operate seperately. The only artists he's close with is bts and txt) mhj accuses belift lab (illit's label) of plagiarizing her bc illit has the same brand ambassadorships as newjeans, but belift never asked mhj for permission. Hybe argued that newjeans has the same ambassadorships as bts, yet mhj never asked bighit or bts for permission Hybe said its a taboo in their company to have their artists compare to senior hybe artists.Mhj accused hybe of breaking this taboo bc there articles published with the headline "illit surpassed newjeans" when illit broke newjeans' record. Hybe argued last year when newjeans broke a bts record, mhj kept begging them to publish articles with the headline "newjeans surpassed bts" they had to eventually agree and MANY articles were published with that headline newjeans and their parents are on mhj's side, they've filed petitions to have her stay at hybe. The public all agrees that the members are heavily groomed by mhj considering they make statements like "she's our mother, we cant do anything without her" etc. and continue to support her even after knowing how she talks about them behind their backs. Hybe was supposed to dismiss her as ceo over a board members meeting, but she filed an injuction to stop hybe excerising their voting rights. Today was the day, the court was in mhj's favor. They acknowledged all of hybe's evidence, they agreed the allegations against mhj were all true. But its not enough to dismiss her as ceo because the thing with taking over ador was only a plan, she hadn't taken action yet. meanwhile belift lab and source music have sued her for defamation and filed petitions. Pdogg (bts' producer), son seongdeuk (bts' choreographer and le sserafim's creative director) , and slow rabbit (bts and txt's producer) have all filed petitions too. while bighit was investigating and suing for the smear campaign against bts they revealed that through the investigation they've become almost sure its another popular label behind this smear campaign. they didnt name-drop but people speculate its SM because of min heejin, and this wont be sm's first time being behind a smear campaign against bts. sorry this was a bit lengthy 😅😅

I personally think that aside from some aspects of ILLIT, the plagiarism accusations are ridiculous. Surely MHJ was aware that by debuting a highly-anticipated group with a unique concept she would start a trend? That's just how the kpop industry works - groups follow trends, and with 5th gen it has been all about modernising 90s and 2000s aesthetics, with NewJeans at the helm. She has only catalysed the popularisation of a trend that already existed.

when it comes to BTS related videos pls don't watch kookielt channel. it's a kpop and drama channel and they don't have accurate info sometimes and provide "opinions" as facts sometimes. for example they said that BTS female fans were jealous of the idea that BH having a gg. they just made some BS up right there. majority of us didn't even knew that they were going to crate a gg in the first place. pls don't believe everything they say. and this MHJ and hybe drama is much more than what was instated in that video.

It might sound surprising to a lot of people but Shamanism is a 'practice' or religion that is alive and well in South Korea. It's actually not that uncommon for people to seek the services of a shaman to receive life advice, read fortune for relationships, the 'odds' of a marriage or even business. However, there's reports of over 40000 back and forth messages between MHJ and her shaman and that her shaman claims to be inhabited, or the living host, of MHJ's dead sister. MHJ actually refers to the shaman as 'unnie' (honorific for 'older sister') so... Yeah, MHJ is on a whoooole 'nother level there. By the way, the fact that she let the shaman tell her what to do for business decisions - including hiring a person (not because they were qualified or even needed, but so that this third person could be too host of the dead sister and be near MHJ all day every day) is a question for concern business-wise. Why would the shaman be privy to sensitive business information, and plant a third person in the company, you see the problem? So yeah. Shamanism is alive and well in SK and in this particular case, it creates another issue on top of everything else.
