The 89 and the 91 are her and her boyfriends birth years lol. And The Man video is definitely a Wolf of Wall Street reference, she got the actual cinematographer from that movie to do the video and everything 😂
The graffiti wall is everything! People think Speak Now is the next re-recording because it’s directly under Red. You can see for a second that 1989 is written on the wall twice (top left corner) so a possible double album is speculated too! Also the whole Karma theory (bleach haired Taylor era that we missed because she went into hiding) The no scooter sign… it’s all so fucking good!!
Katy and Taylor met at awards shows, but didn't really compete in the same genre. The beef started this way, as far as I remember. Taylor hired some dancers for her Red Tour who previously worked with Katy Perry. They put an exit clause in the contract that they could leave if Katy started a tour -- but she didn't have an album done yet. They dumped out of the Red Tour about halfway through; Taylor thought that Katy timed the release of the album and her tour specifically to cause a failure of the Red Tour. So, on the next album, you get the song Bad Blood. Then, after Bad Blood video was released, Katy got involved in the social media dispute between Taylor Swift and ex Calvin Harris (Katy had also dated Harris). At the same time, Taylor had pulled her music off Spotify; when Katy released her next album, Taylor put her music back up, and Katy's album sales were blown out by people streaming Taylor's music. Katy sent a (literal) olive branch to Taylor's dressing room on the first night of the Reputation Tour; which was posted in Taylor's IG account and accepted. But the media continued to play it up until the release of the YNTCD video. After all, clickbait sells ads.
The "Mom, I am a rich man" is an ICONIC quote by Cher from 1996. Here's the context (it is just 34, ICONIC, seconds): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XgjbcykdUIg.html
Joe Alwyn's birthday is Feb 21 1991. His birth year is linked with hers at the door (89, 91) and she used his birthday (2-2-1) as the combo to unlock the door leading to herself. fwiw, both the dark and light Taylor are constructs representing her image: the dark one seems like the Media version, while the other is the studio/publicist version. I like to think that at the end, she is free of both.
End Game: visuals follow a globe trotting jet set girl who travels to parties all over the world (her "reputation"); the lyrics describe her finding someone she loves. a separation of the public image from her actual reality. A lot of the album is "they said" -- it is the same idea as Blank Space and Shake It Off --- basically, people will say anything about her. You hear it in a lot of the songs on the album.
Ok so, in the ready for it video, 89 - her birth year 91 - Joe's birth year The box taylor is real who's trapped and freeing herself. Also in the man, those albums were missing and to be returned to taylor with a special blow of a no scooter sign😉
At 15:46 it reads "They're burning all the witches" which is a lyric from I Did Somethign Bad and it's the time everyone was cancelling her for NO reason (They're burning all the witches, even if you aren't one, they got their reciets and proofs and their reasons)
11:55 Joseph kahn directed almost iconic music videos from the past like Britney spears' toxic mv, mariah carey Boy (I love you), and more you should react from them
"Mom, i am a rich man" came from Cher she had an interview, her mom said to her: 'you know, one day you should settle down and marry a rich man'. To which she said 'mom, I am a rich man' edit: the burger (b), and the french fries (ff) spell bff
Fave one was the Katy Perry - You Need To Calm Down one and the one with Ellie Goulding - Bad Blood are some of faves and I like the man - Music Video 😍😁❤️🏳️🌈 my fave music videos by Taylor Swift .
Have you watched ME!?? I think that’s the only one left from Lover. I don’t wanna live forever mv is cool too just to see the beginning of her rep era persona I guess. Besides the song is really good. I knew you were trouble mv too!!
@@BradEvans21 Okay, so a few things haha; Joseph Khan directed a lot of these and he's a mf beast, he also did mv's for Britney (Stonger, Toxic), Backstreet Boys (Everybody, Larger than Life), Gaga (Love Game, Eh Eh) and many more, but he's the literal best lol. Also, the Katy beef was basically; Katy and Taylor were close friends, then Katy was on tour with her background dancers, but then the tour ended. So then Taylor started her tour and got those background dancers, but during Taylor's tour, Katy started her next tour and asked the background dancer to come work for her again, which they did. Taylor felt that was a bit backstabby (maybe Katy also offered more to convince them). Also, then a feud followed (the most prominent one being Katy tweeting "Beware of the Regina George in sheep's clothing" or Taylor putting her music on streaming for the first time on the exact day Katy released her album)
Ya'll he found Karma. Ok so for context, people suspect Karma to be taylor's lost album and this is one of the evidence of KARMA's existence as just beside karma there was a board of missing if found please return, indicating that karma is a lost album
