yooo!! I’m super excited for you to continue to watch this series!! despite the crude humor and fast past of it you really grow to love the characters in it, and trust me the story gets really good as the series progresses. I would also recommend rewatching the episodes because I still catch things I missed and I’ve seen them all dozens of times. The pilot is a good setup for the concept of the show, and you’ll notice the change in VAs compared to the actual show, but Helluva Boss is one of my favorite shows!!

I'm interested to see your reaction to the episode 2 now. I'm really looking forward to see how you'll like a certain someone that gets a lot of focus in episode 2 after you're finished watching it.

I really like his Blame the Hero and The Serial Killing Clown series, but a really popular (and equally as funny) video of his is A Day at the Park which shows most (if not all) of his characters up until that point.

Well, it would have made sense eventually. The first season is made so you get the whole thing eventually. Most series expect that you never see the pilot. Anyway, I am glad that you liked it and hope you will react to the rest of the season. I hope you will like the second episode.

"So much is happening." Yup, even in the background. You can watch it multiple times and find stuff. 1-when they take the kid to the hospital, when Doc comes in, there's an x-ray in the background that has a crowbar IN THE CHEST! 2- when doc comes out to talk to the imps, the room is labeled 66 BUT the next door is 667, so the doc actually came from door 666 that's missing a number 3- when they are falling out the window, there is one window that has "HELP" spelled backwards...in blood 4- the scene where Moxie says "It's Loona's fault" we can see her playing a game where she's killing Moxie over and over. There are also a few things in the background that play a part later on in series. I'll say it here since I see you've covered those episodes. 1- In Moxie & Millie's bedroom there is a "Paybill" (play?) for Phantom of the Opera and a golden record that has Moxie's name on it. ep 6 in Moxie's Bad Trip, he sings and it has some serious phantom of the Opera vibes. 2- in the I.M.P. HQ there is a poster for the "Amazing Imp Siblings" featuring Blitzo, Barbie Wire & Tilla. Ep 3 we see that poster but Tilla isn't in it and it says "Amazing Imp Twins". It seemed Tilla was removed... until latest ep where seems she's been rewriten to the mother to Blitzo & Barbie Wire.

Even tho the pilot came before the series even started, it’s not canon to the actual series. Everything that happened in this episode never happened in the series, but it’s definitely an amazing pilot and I think that everyone should still watch it! It definitely helps give you more context and allows you to understand more abt what to come when episode one rolls in.

Even in the ending song, Moxxie only murders for Millie, otherwise he would be cooped up trying to be a good demon and be lonely, the two episodes (this and the episode 1) shows that even though Moxxie was born in hell, he is an angel of a soul, of course the cursing and murdering won't allow him redemption (say there is redemption to the heaven of their universe if you go so and so years without any "sinful" actions as an adult hellborn demon)

An odd problem I have with this pilot: half of it is made of cutaways, including a cutaway to Stolas and Blitzo sleeping together in the middle of the 'Loona is a jerk' cutaway. That makes it easy to forget that we're actually doing a thing in the present. To be clear, this is still a great introduction to these characters. Just a small gripe I have.
