As far as I know the "l" in salmon is silent. Niki was saying it that way because she hadn't known the correct pronunciation for salmon in English and Wilbur confused her by saying the l. Niki is one of my favorite chill minecraft streamers. She's up there with Eret and Philza. I'm so glad you watched some of her videos
I remember watching Tommy's perspective of the "Am fish" video, but it was the stream. He and Jack spent about an hour being overly British and lost over half of their viewers, and it was quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever watched- but Niki's version is so wholesome that honestly I can't decide which side is my favorite, they're both great. If you are confused, the second video is about niki joining a new smp called "Origins smp", the origins smp is like any other smp but you get to choose what your origin is. so far there are only 9 origins to choose from. but you can actually make your own origin. the origin that niki chose is the merling origin. it means that niki is able to breathe underwater and mine block faster in the water. but every origin has drawbacks or cons to make it balance, you can also try this with your friends. just install the origins mod.
