Mario and Luigi’s brotherly bond is honestly so sweet and special. Just of how they always have each others backs, always work together, and never give up on each other. It’s just so beautiful to watch. Their bond is how all siblings should be.

I love this movie so freaking much. The brotherly love between Mario and Luigi was so wholesome, Princess Peach was both gorgeous and badass, and Bowser had so many hilarious moments. Plus, this movie gave us a lot of references to other Mario games. I’m really hoping that we get a sequel soon.

One of my favorite references is the store in the mushroom kingdom selling "antiques". The store has a lot of very old items that weren't used in Mario games since the time of Super Mario Bros 3.

Here's hoping that the third time's the charm.👍 This movie is so awesome. Just pure, unadulterated fun. My favorite part was Jack Black's incredible performance and banger song, "Peaches". I also love the amazing animation, awesome references, colorful action, and great music and humor.

23:36 That Koppa became the one thing that many Mario Kart racers fear the most, and to this day have PTSD from it.....the Blue Shell. And that Koppa is the MVP considering the fact that he kamikaze himself to take out Mario and Donkey King.

I went to see this with my mother and sister who are not video game fanatics and didn’t grow up with Mario like I did. They absolutely loved it! My theater was packed and everyone loved this movie. Can’t wait for the sequel.

Went to see this in theaters a few weeks ago with my brother. He surprised me by taking me to see it on 3D! We both grew up playing Mario when we were young so it was amazing to watch it together. After the movie, we gave each other a high 5! Was an amazing time!🥰

Saw it with my little sister and we had a blast. Even now as an 18 year old, I still appreciate animated movies so much. I remember so vividly playing super Mario bros on Nintendo-WII and asking my older brother for help with the harder levels. Such a fond memory. Such a nostalgia-trip tbh 😄

Universal has been really strict with you recently with both The Bad Guys and Puss in Boots 2, so let’s hope it stays up this time! Anyway, my comment from the previous videos: Definitely the best Illumination film since the first Despicable Me! The movie was a ton of fun and a great love letter to the entire Mario franchise. The story is what you'd expect from a Mario movie, the animation is easily the best from Illumination, and the characters, like Bowser and Peach, are entertaining to watch, thanks to the great voice performances, along with the Mario Kart sequence being the standout! Mario's voice turned out to be pretty decent (and definitely not just Chris Pratt's normal voice) and Chris Pratt proved us all wrong! Can't wait to see what the (100% likely) sequel can do!

You guys need to understand that Mario and Luigi used to speak like regular people with Brooklyn accents back in the 80s, since they’re canonically from Brooklyn, New York, which is why they casted Chris Pratt and Charlie Day to voice them. If they go with the characters’ voices from the games, I feel like it’s not gonna fit; it would be kind of weird and annoying. Do you guys not know the old Mario cartoons? The iconic Brooklyn Mario was from a WWE wrestler, Captain Lou Albano, and he was Italian-American.

Also, people keep saying that Peach has Daisy's personality, which is starting to get on my nerves. Peach is just doing her job as a princess to protect the Mushroom Kingdom, and she still has her feminine personality. It's like that doesn't even compute for them.

Charles Martinet voices Mario and Luigi's father and the man dressed as the Jumpman playing the Donkey Kong Arcade game. Fun fact: Martinet voices the father in an accent he originally intended for Mario before he went with the famous accent we know today.

Don't feel like you need to tone down your excitement if something truly makes you happy. I was almost as giddy as you when I saw this at the IMAX with my Dad (who grew up with the OG game). 17:58 - "Oh, he's just in the arena, I thought he was gonna train a little bit or something." Technically, he already did train with Princess Peach. Besides, time is of the essence, and I doubt Cranky Kong would let him get some quick training in before the fight anyway. Glad you liked the movie, I thought it was fantastic! Loads of fun, really appreciated all the references, particularly deep digs like Foreman Spike from Wrecking crew being a character!

There is a Theory: Bowser actually was Peaces's pet when she is a baby. When they get in to the hole, they lost each other, like Mario and Luigi did, Bowser did fall in to Dark Lands amd Peaces did go into Mushroom Kingdom. And in dark lands, Bowser had a accidently magical transform into a bigger turtle. The real reason why he is oppsessed with Peaces: He just want to return to his owner.

As a 80's and early 90's Mario Bros. fan until the 3D Mario replaced the Mario I grew up with, I enjoyed the movie. Especially the beginning with the Super Mario Bros. Super Show song during the ad. It was also great that the movie got Princess Toadstool's original VA from the Super Show to speak during the ad. I loved it. All the movie game references like Mario playing Kid Icarus and Martinet's character playing the original Donkey Kong was great. I also loved the music from the games that was used.

"I was really hoping for Welcome to the Jungle." That would have made way more sense. At least Holding Out For a Hero fit its scene. This was just inserting a pop song for the heck of it.

I recommend you react to a classic western called "Once Upon a Time in the West". The score of this movie is still being played by orchestras worldwide after 55 years. The entire score was written and recorded before the first scene was shot. It is a 3 hour movie with only 15 pages of dialog. This movie is used in cinematic schools to show what can be done with great music and fantastic camera work. It is one of the "Spaghetti Westerns" of the 1960s directed by Sergio Leone, an Italian director that is considered one of the greatest directors who ever lived. Don't be in a hurry when you watch this movie because the movie doesn't hurry, but is absolutely packed with scenes that will shock you and take you on a suspenseful and emotional journey.

This movie was worth every penny when I watched this movie in LA on opening weekend! I saw nothing wrong with the voice actors, especially Chris Pratt as Mario. I have no idea what the negative hype in early 2022 was about regarding that. At least original Mario voice Charles Martinet was still onboard with this movie for two cameo roles!

I enjoyed this movie, my childhood memories came back, this movie is a good surprise! I loved how they made the penguins from Super Mario 64, super cute! I also noticed hidden details and references from Nintendo’s old school games like Wrecking Crew, Ice Climbers and Duck Hunt. Will you make a reaction video of Detective Pikachu, please? Super reaction!! I loved playing Mario as a kid; heck I still play it now!! This movie was perfect to a shiny star!! I’d really love to see other Mario characters in future sequels like Wario, Waluigi, Bowser Jr., Princess Daisy, Toadette, Rosanne, etc. I can definitely see SEGA going all the way to a Super Mario Smash Bros film. With an amazing box office worldwide total of $1.2 billion, this Illumination film is without a doubt total redemption for Mario after the 1993 live-action bomb. Glad Universal and Illumination brought along creator Shigeru Miyamoto as producer and consultant for his famous mustachioed red plumber mascot!

That movie is amazing. That's why I really love that movie because Chris Pratt, Seth Rogen and Jack Black are in the movie. It's based on Mario games. I play Mario games and they're really great. Don't get me wrong, I rated Super Mario Bros. Movie 10/10. Nintendo did really well making this movie.

I LOVED this movie. I was in diapers playing Mario on the NES and SNES. I usually always have complaints with video game movies, and with this I only have one (which is super nit-picky). I feel like they gave Daisy's personality to Peach, but you know what? I don't care, this movie was awesome!
