Lord of the Beans is the twenty-seventh episode in the VeggieTales series, it teaches the lesson of how to use your gifts. It parodies J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of The Rings. This episode stars Junior Asparagus as Toto Baggypants who receives a special gift of a bean that could give him anything.

It just occurred to me why this is the final action of the Bean. The Bean has infinite uses, but each use can only create a finite amount of anything. Creating a large amount of food and water will feed and hydrate the people, but it won't save the Land of Woe forever. To do that, he has to restore the well, which involves dropping the Bean into it, never to be retrieved again.

Fun fact: while only really referred to as "Crazy guy on Unicycle with umbrella", people have largely accepted him as a reference to the LotR character Tom Bombadil, a character whom appeared between Hobbiton and Bree, ground the plot to a halt, sang a few songs about his blue vest and yellow boots, blimped the Ring out of existence for a few seconds for giggles, then sent the hobbits on their way. Tolkien gave him his own book that was a collection of poems.

Story about myself: Pre-K through 12th grade, i would attend Christian Private Schools. During Pre-K through 5th, they'd show us Veggietales every single DAMN WEEK to the point that when i see it now........ I both cringe very hard, and become immensely nostalgic. So watching this again, let me tell you, it brought back memories.

The it makes tea taste like bath water part is actually hilarious and smart because they are vegetables. When you think about it, tea is pretty much vegetable bath water because you are dipping a plant substance into hot water until something comes off of it and mixes into the water. So they are flipping around makes bath water taste like tea due to this. It’s actually one of the funniest parts of a veggie tales show I’ve seen, right up there with Larry slamming the door shut on the IRS agent.

All of the jokes that you assume aren't thought out are actually really clever parodies of LOTR. For example Scary Man is like Saruman, sporks are like orcs, the random unicycle guy is a parody of the seeming randomness of Tom Bombadill. The line when Bilboy says "like chocolate pudding spread over too much ham" is parodying Bilbo's " like butter spread over too much toast". None of this movie isn't thought out.
