I really loved the starting premise behind masked vigilantism. Using the same methods the thieves would use, like ski masks, only a bit more outlandish lol
There is a Watchmen TV Show in production. Depending on how they do it, it might start with the MinuteMen, then go throughout time and go to Watchmen later in the series
@@thebatman9309 I think he might be too old to play a young comedian but who knows, I don't see him performing the type of fight scenes he did in watchmen
I think maybe if they held out a bit longer on this movie and waited for Before Watchmen they could have fleshed out the background a bit more. But again this is still such a fantastic movie.
no hes referencing the other black and white footage, which is taken from a documentary on Hollis Mason that was a part of the watchmen blu ray special features @@LilWindex1378
@Stix N' Stones He has always suffered drinking problems because of his suit. Flying was always scary for him so he'd just do it wasted. It got worst when he was prosecuted for being too close to some socialists during the Witch Hunt and he ended up in asylum.

As soon as we'd arrest them, they'd be back on the street. Nobody could pick them out of a lineup because of the damn masks. So a few of us cops, we get together... and we figure, what the heck, we'll mask up, too. We'll finish what the law couldn't. Pretty soon, the papers get wind of it. They ran with it... and oh, boy, we're a national pastime."
in my Blender DC Universe the Minutemen are just a comic book that the Watchmen read and were inside along with the fact my watchmen will be inspired by the Justice League when they save the earth from the brainiacs
Not really man. This was a display of how mentally not okay vigilantes are(especially masked/costumed).. And how not okay “our “ systems are as it is. And an alternate universe where technology went a different route kinda like fallout did.. Then the crazy situation where 1 human being ascended into form of energy that could just do whatever it wanted with its matter & around it, & perceive time as one center point happening all that once. It’s wild. I just can’t see the boys touching that. Not to say the Boys isn’t fun. But I just can’t take it Seriously. Just pop corn shlock. Pure Entertainment. Soap opera with gore. Not that deep The boys is gore fetish science fiction of some compound that genetically altered a group of human species… analogous to race/groups of people and divides and the issues that arise with all that..
Being actually serious, this one is the best superhero film ever done. The only one to get a balance between well directed and thrilling action and a very good story. Nolan's trilogy has very good stories, but it's action was poorly executed (it's even funny to see the backarrounds when the fights get going because you can see the extras waiting their time to be hit), not just by the actors which you couldn't believe his batman was able to take on multiple guys but the narrative is also flawed (dude, he filmed a whole fight in a general shot, I mean, get closer man!). Marvel has in general great fighting sequences but their stories are way too repetitive, like, it's already a formula copied and pasted. This, Watchmen, is completely balanced. An excellent story filled with amazing fighting sequences. Plus, it's the only superhero film that gets down into philosophical themes with depth. It's amazing.
